  1. It's due later this month, providing there are no delays.
  2. Feel sorry for everyone suffering the issues with this release. I have two, with no dramas ...so far. What I'm surprised with is the RVF-25, which is probably my best quality Bandai macross release. I wonder what changed? And I hope the upcoming releases follow the trend of the RVF.
  3. I managed to grab two, pretty pleased with that. Could have been a little cheaper, but I was happy to pay a little more knowing that I secured two.
  4. Man I thought I had myself set this time, had the iPad and PC running. Somehow I missed amiami and NY, sucks but I will just wait for the next NY window to open up. Well done to those of you who picked one up!
  5. Ha! I remembered the scene right, it was just the wrong Valkrey. Thanks for clearing that up.
  6. This may be a silly question, according to the line art does the YF-19 cockpit rotate when in battroid? I seem to remember a scene in MAC+ where bowman and dyson are facing off in battroid and when the scene cuts to a cross section of the YF-19 in battroid, the cockpit and dyson are facing downwards, with Dyson appearing to looking up towards the YF-21. No time to grab a screen shot at the moment but I distinctly remember thinking that it was odd that isamu was facing towards the ground when in battroid. On the other hand it could have been a mid transformation scene.....
  7. Man that looks good, i was worrying that it might look a little too " VF-19 " but that battroid image looks just about perfect.
  8. Yeah I know what you mean, I just look at the shoulders and lower legs and I see a flatter design. Maybe squared off was not the correct choice of word. But I do think that the YF-19 looks significantly less rounded than the VF-19, at least in the current Yamato forms.
  9. Loving the look of the CAD image. Just a quick thought, the thrusters around the ankle and shin look a little too "VF-19" just without the improved thruster system which wraps around the entire lower leg of the VF-19. I always thought the YF-19 was squared off when compared to the VF-19, especially in the "bell bottom" area. I guess that could be from looking at my current YF-19 for so long. Not a big deal for me, I will still jump at the chance to update my YF-19's.
  10. It would be cool to see this with armour parts, I really like the canon scheme - two for me thanks!
  11. Just placed a pre order with AMIAMI, wasn't really sold on the scheme but when I saw the preorder option available I just jumped on it....must be all those damn Bandai Valks training me to never pass on a preorder that is available.....
  12. I just picked up my two VF-171 CF's , which also had a YF-29 30th anniversary tagging along for the ride. Haven't opened them up yet, but I thought the outer packing box was kind of cool... Contents: VF-171 x 6 With Bandai stamped all over it.
  13. Don't laugh ....that was me!! Been trying all day... Thanks SaitouSad, not sure where you get your info from but it was most appreciated!
  14. Must agree with everything that has already been said here, great film really enjoyed it. My wife was really into it as well, I kind of used up a favor to see this one but she walked out just as impressed as me!
  15. I received the same "unable to print" message, I will wait for your update on this thread and then try again. I pretty much echo Priss's comments as well, I think this is about the twelfth set of replacement shoulder/arm parts you have helped me with! Cheers
  16. I grabbed black, I figured it's not far off the original color and will be easier to paint over. I have mostly used the strong white but that has been for shoulder replacements on white Valks.
  17. I ordered two, no problem with my YF-19 at the moment....but better to be safe than sorry. Thanks VF5SS
  18. Awesome shot Jenius! I'm sure you will have some more eye candy in the update.
  19. I went through this process a couple of years ago, my wife works with an insurance company on a regular basis which saved us some money. My collection is NOT specifically covered as an extra (which incurs the extra charges), but rather as an itemised list of within our standard contents. We can list up to 25% of our total contents as specific items with independent values, so in the event of a total loss we can cover the most expensive items, so we upped our total contents for less than insuring just my collection, or just my Hi-Fi gear. If you have any questions feel free to fire away, but my wife advised caution as the insurance companies all have slightly different polices in place. We have been with AAMI and are very happy with the flexibility in our coverage.
  20. Fair point, but in the end product diversity was probably a primary issue. Doing the entire range in 1/72 would eventually lead down the same path without the ability to cash in on existing molds and designs ( assuming Arcadia end up with the rights). Arcadia needs a bigger "net", more diversity with on going products across multiple mediums which will give them a much better shot at capturing more customers.
  21. Like many who have already posted, the gorgeous fighter modes drew me in. I still love the classic lines of the VF-1, particularly Roy's 001
  22. I'm guessing that NY receives a batch of RVF-25 which they paid the standard wholesale for. Hence the opening prices are always the best. As they run out of their initial consignment they start to visit other retailers and buy up their stock, which could account for the varying degrees of price. So NY must have relationships with those retailers, but I doubt they are getting them for wholesale when purchasing from another retailer. What I absolutely don't understand is how they can secure those deals before the stock is released. They must have plenty of relationships that they can trust and lock down those prices weeks or even moths before a release. I don't think NY have let anyone down on this forum, at least when it comes to these preorder windows. For me, well Im just glad NY exist. If they didn't I probably wouldn't have the majority of my Macross F Valks. As for fans in Japan, well If I was a retailer based in Japan selling these goods and a guy visited or called me just prior to each Bandai Valk release and offered to take all of my stock for 20% off - that would be tempting. However i had people coming in daily asking me for a product that is clearly in demand - well I would keep the stock and sell it at full RRP. Each retailer can choose not to sell their stock in bulk, but ultimately those individual retailers have potentially chosen to sell their stock over keeping them in store. Lots of guess work on my part, but the basic story is not that unusual in retail businesses across the globe. As I said if a regular customer wants to buy ten of my best selling products, but he wants discount - its my choice to sell them.
  23. I checked NY while I was at lunch, about 5 hours ago. Saw they were available and grabbed one, even paid upfront just to be safe.
