  1. Yeah it was released late last year as a Macross Chronicles web exclusive. Anyway it was the same deal with my 1/48 TV Max, but I guess some retailers got their hands on some and sold them on line. There are still a few of the 1/48 TV Max's getting around on Ebay.
  2. Hey, I just picked up a 1/48 TV max from Ebay and I was wondering if anyone has come across the 1/48 TV Kakizaki for sale anywhere? Thanks...
  3. Now that makes perfect sense - that would have been a winner!! I'm not a huge fan of the weathered releases but that would have been a MUST HAVE.
  4. Yeah I have to agree, a TV VF-1S would look great with my Vermillon squad. The brighter white of the TV valks looks good when they are together. When you put the DYRL Roy 1S next them it just looks odd - from a display point of view. So my Roy DYRL happily sits with his DYRL buddies on a different shelf. Would I buy a TV Roy - HELL YES!! Just putting this out there - do Yamato think the TV Roy should be darker/aged as it was the longest serving valk??
  5. yeah I recieved the address details from ANGOLZ and printed them and put them straight onto the parcel. I had to copy the details for the delivery note but it wasn't rocket science so i'm 100% certain the details were correct. I even checked back with ANGOLZ and they verified the address details. Didn't see any comments about returned goods the treads seem to be mostly concerned with goods waiting to be recieved.
  6. Just wondering how many of you, (if any) have returned faulty or damaged Valks. If you have, was it a good expierence i.e. all went as planned or was it a bad idea from the start? I recently posted about a damaged 1/48 VF-1S which I received just before Christmas from ANGOLZ. After a chain of emails and photos I decided to return to ANGOLZ because of the damage. I was offered an exchange, but I had to return my valk first - fair enough.... As it stands now ANGOLZ say they didn't receive it, my freight forwarder claims they have attemped multiple drops but no one ever responds to the cards that are left. I have gone back and forth so many times with ANGOLZ that I have virtually given up. Cut a long story short - my valk has gone AWOL somewhere in Hong Kong and no one wants to take any responsibility...... I'm so glad I ticked the insurnace option. If nothing else, at least this post will make you think twice before you send something back O/S for replacement.
  7. Hello - I posted the content below as a new thread and was directed to this thread.... Anyone had a similair issue with the lower intake on their 1/48??.................. As the title suggests I received a broken 1/48 Yamato Hikki VF-1S just before Christmas. I have checked over the other topics in relation to damaged Yamato's and I couldn't find this specific issue so I apologize if I missed it. I bought the 1/48 from Angolz (my first purchase with them). I thought the price was good and the shipping was reasonable so I took the jump.... This is where the story comes unstuck. As I slowly unwrapped my new prize I noticed hairline cracks on the lower portion of the intake. Thats below the hip joint and the pivot point when in Gerwalk mode. At first I thought I was seeing things, so I gently slid the legs out as if to transform into Gerwalk and the cracks started to open up (or flex) under the pressure. Thats when I noticed the other leg had the same crack but on the inside of the leg!! I have to say that this is my tenth 1/48 and I have over 20 of the V2 1/60's so I know some of the issues taht have been popping up but I haven't seen or heard of this problem before. Just to be clear its the lower portion of the intake and the crack runs from the laser pod to about 1mm from the edge of this part. The other leg with inside crack runs just above the seem of the intake and right around to the top of where the two parts of the intake meet. These cracks are NOT on the intake part that joins to the hips or the front of the intake which has the intake covers. Angolz have been really good about the whole thing, I sent a polite but concerned email and I had a response within hours. I had to get some pictures and so forth but as soon as Angolz received the pictures they offered to replace the 1/48. The only catch was that I had to pay the shipping to return the Valk. So far it has been about 7 days and I'm hoping my damaged Valk arrives Ok - as they wont ship the replacement until my damaged one arrives. Fingers crossed that all goes to plan and I recieve my replacement next week.....

  9. I would have to say Gamlin's VF-22s takes the win for me. I don't know if its because it's just different from a VF-1 but there is just something about the VF-22 that you can't pull your eyes away from. Sheer size, great color ........
  10. Hi all, I just picked up a couple of the Yamato mighty block stands. They cost me about $2o aussie each, by the time you add in shipping I guess they are not that cheap. Having said that I had them included with my last valk purchase and there was a very minor additional charge of $10 added to the shipping. Anyway I think the stand is great for the 1/60 scale. I put my TV max on it last night and it really showed off the fighter without drawing too much attention to the stand itself. Its solid and has the attachements ready to go. I got it from Hobby Link Japan and I have already ordered some more.
  11. Thanks derex, Your collection is similiar to mine - I have the Robotech MPC's as well!! Happy collecting in 2010....
  12. There are some great ideas listed. I guess if a V3 "perfect 1/60" was launched with the features you have all listed I would consider buying one or two. As for my exsisting collection: I would love to see side covers and neck cover for 1/60 and 1/48 scale . Maybe they could be sold in packs as most collectors have several VF-1's??? Water transfers decals again in both 1/60 and 1/48. Ground crew and support vehicles. Actually as I wrote this a "detail kit" containing say 10 side covers and 5 neck covers + a set of five water transfers would be perfect. There could then be a second kit containing the support crew, pilots and vehicles. Just my two cents.....
  13. 1/48 - 10 1/60 - all V2 - 23
