  1. That's great news! I really thought I would NEVER gets these rare gems for my collection, and now here they are - ORDERED!
  2. Cool thanks, Time to make a purchase!!
  3. Hey there, I was just going to ask about that Mega House Klan Klang.... I was always into the Mecha but I have never purchased a character figure. I was think of displaying this Klan figure with my VF-25G DX. Has anyone displayed them together? I understand the MegaHouse figure is closer to a 1/72 scale rather than a 1/60 like the DX, but I figure they should look pretty sweet togther. Thanks for any help.
  4. Glad to read that MW members are OK, my thoughts go out to all those affected by this terrible natural disaster. I hope in days to come more of the missing people are found safe and well.
  5. The super parts for the TV set are the lighter green version, you could use the DYRL strike parts on the TV roy but it would not be as "accurate" as the TV parts (if that bothers you). I think Loop is right, the TV sets are hard to find now. I had a quick look over HLJ and AMIAMI and both no longer had TV parts in stock. HLJ did have the DYRL version available. I have both the TV versions and they are SWEET!!
  6. I thought about this for a while and I kept coming back to my 1/48's. Low Viz 1 Stealth with strike parts TV Vermillion in 1/48 scale Weathered VF-1S can't go past it!!
  7. I just received mine yesterday, I would say that the 2nd sotie is all new, but I have a feeling a couple of the images were in the first one. Anyway don't let that bother you, as I said only one or two images looked familiar. The Frontier images at the back are really great as well, I just wish that they were full size.
  8. Just ordered mine from AMIAMI. For some reason I actually thought it was going to be more expensive, but I guess AMIAMI's "special" price helps. Now the wait......at least I will get this Valk before the new Frontier movie.
  9. Yeah I think I was lucky with my green Vf-27, a member here opted out of the group by and I took over his purchase.
  10. VF-1S ROY, it just looks right to me. Although I do get your point about the red skull working with both the "hiki" valks. Actually the more I think about it, I would leave Roy's in fighter without the strike gear and have Hikaru's VF-1S in battroid with the strike gear in that classic DYRL pose with all the weapons pointed forward. Just my 2 cents worth....
  11. I just received mine yesterday, all I can say is WOW!! It seems the more I look at it the more detail springs out at you. No doubt its expensive but man if you are in anyway a Macross fan this is a MUST HAVE!! Now to order another one......must have a cruiser mode and attacker mode next to each other.......
  12. I voted the VF-2SS but really any new design would be great. The VF-19 will be awesome, no doubt about that but I can't help the feeling that "I have been there and done that". I know the YF-19 is a different beast but really a new Valk wether its the VF-4 of VF-2SS would be great!!
  13. With the arrival of my Grace VF-27 I can say that I have the complete MF collection - with the exception of the new release Vf-25 Michel type with tornado parts. A have most of the 1/48's and 1/60's V2 with the exception of weathered models. I recently started going back and finding certain figures I was missing from M0 and M+. Same problem as everyone else....no space!!
  14. Not sure if it makes a difference but I received my order confirmation on the 20th of April, maybe they work through the list by date? Hope you get yours soon.....
  15. Yeah I got the discount on both items of around 15% then I received a further discount of 2715 which relates to the shipping.
  16. I received my payment request from Amiami this morning, I was pleased to see they included the 15% off EMS shipping as well. Not sure if I was just lucky but I paid up straight away. Now I just have to wait until they arrive, it seems like it has been ages since I ordered them.
  17. I received my payment request at 3am this morning - Australian time. I noticed that they gave me the 15% off shipping which was a nice surprise. Can't wait to get a look at these TV VF-1S's .....
  18. I waited until last week to snatch one up, I paid $50.00 including shipping - what a bargin!! Alto arrived yesterday and I was really surprised, in a good way. Intially I thought the figure was a little small but once you get Alto armoured up its a decent sized figure. I really hope Bandai make a few more figures!!
  19. Its funny how that works - I was watching that one for days and didn't really get to concerned about it. Then I started to notice that everyone was having trouble getting one so I didn't waste any time. I received it last week and its great! I'm sure you will find one - good luck..
  20. I just recieved mine from Amiami as well and derex is SPOT ON - this second release is awesome! I read alot of comments about color and shoulder dramas with the first version but this is probably the best built/finished V2 that I have. Everything just looks and feels right, I wouldn't pass this one up!
  21. I have the 1/48 TV Max and the Kakizaki on its way and let me tell you they dont look the same as the 1/60's. The 1/60's have that real TV white color whereas the 1/48 TV editions use the off white paint scheme as a base. The 1/60 vermillion squad looks like it just popped out of the TV. I posted a while back that I managed to get a 1/60 Kakizaki from Ebay - I paid $120 and received a set of TV super parts, I thought it was a little expensive at the time.....looks like i was really lucky. Hope you guys manage to find Kakizaki.
  22. Vermillion squadron is a good starting point and they look great when you have them set up together. As for the price, well I waited too long for the Kakizaki and as a result I paid a slight premium at $120 shipped with a set of TV super parts. The max has been on sale at several key sellers like HLJ and Amiami. I think you can afford to shop around for the Max but when you see a Kakizaki I would jump on it. My only suggestion is don't hold out chasing a deal because you may miss out on your Vermillion squad. The 1/60 V2's can generally be bought for between 80-100 US not including shipping. If you time it right - when there is a sale you can score a real bargin. Even some of the free shipping deals can ease the pain. Having said that some of the sellers are listing TV Kakizaki as discontiuned so the price will no doubt start jumping as people chase it. Good Luck and I hope you enjoy them.
  23. I have to agree there, Vi-RS has all the bases covered. Pondo is spot on as well - TV kakizaki is really becoming difficult to find. You are going to love the 1/60's - enjoy!!
  24. I have been on the same quest for a while now. I have had one on back order with Anime Export for a few months, I just received an email saying they could no longer source it!! The TV Kakizaki's seem to disappearing from all the usual sources. I decided not to take any chances and grabbed one from Ebay last night. I payed a small premium but the seller had it bundeled with a super parts set. With shipping it set me back $120 which I can live with. Good Luck
  25. Thanks, I have been searching the "for sale section" for a while now and I haven't had much luck. Guess I will just keep looking. Thanks again. I just went back and had a look through the wanted list and found a few leads - thanks
