Mine were on display like this..... My house has A/C, and besides that it is always COLD and DARK here in Seattle. I never let the sunlight hit it either. The rest of my Skull Squadron were lucky, but they were stuck pretty good. There are tiny almost clear looking circles on the stabs, it almost looks like grease circles. Here is an example: the top most circle.

This is what happened to mine on both legs The paint was stuck to the silicone part like glue. So yeah my Roy looks pretty ghetto in batteroid mode now.

I think the answer for this would have been a 2 piece design. The part could have been molded in black and sloted in to the rest of the hand and glued. No paint loss.

I might buy this, but only if the reviews are good. I might even wait a bit until user reports start flooding in also. I have skipped the whole Chogokin DX Frontier series from bandai, because I really wanted to wait another 20 years until yammy gets the license and the negative reports from users.

I don't think the missile hatches are going to be high on the list though unfortunately.They skipped it on the VF-22S..... During the polar star Max run he fires from the missile bay.

It might have been the episode where they first land and and explore the planet that the other colony was going to settle. I think Gamlin and Mylene land and she looks around and starts crying. Also in the opening credits where they show Diamond force skim the ground in gerwalk mode, I swear I see the legs bent forward a bit. Am I wrong? I think Yamato would implement forward bending knee joints though for the Yamato signature aggressive gerwalk poses.

Sorry man, I saw your request in the wanted section but I only have 1 so I am of no help. But yeah, they should release these again. They never said they were special edition or anything when they were released. The Elint Seeker had way less screen time than the Super Ostrich, but personally I think the Elint Seeker looks better. I thought I was not even going to buy the Ostrich, but I tend to buy all the 1/60 v2 releases so far if I have the cash on hand.

I think it's funny I keep reading in threads comments about the valk being shiny. If you watch the show you would see that even the vf-17 is actually shiny along with all of the VFf-19's. I really can't criticize Yamato or Shōji Kawamori for the shiny finish on the VF-19. I am thankful though that they are doing matte on the VF-17's. If you watch the canyon run scene on episode 44 at minute mark 10:55 you can see that both the VF-17 and the VF-19 have a shiny coat due to the reflection of the lighting. Don't get me wrong though, I do prefer matte over gloss any day though.

OMG, sucks it was a low vis version 1 I am still working with Los on this very issue...... I did new uncracked base plates. I sent him pictures of what happened.

I would definitely buy both of these if they ever made them. I know this is also a long shot, but if they released a Destroid Cheyenne after releasing the Spartan and Phalanx would you guys buy one? I would, but I am a completest freak when it comes to the different Macross series toy's from Yamato.

Be careful, you don't want the "head pilot" tag! LOL (like someone else I won't mention) The pilot lives in the chest when in batteroid mode.

I like the idea of just having a panel open up so you can stow the gun to make it look like it just opened up. I just don't think it's a top priority though, as I would prefer better proportions than a gimmick. I think they would have to sacrifice line art accuracy to pull off the spring loaded thing, so I actually don't need to push a button and have the gun pod flying up randomly landing somewhere in my room. I also feel that that may be an added point of failure if the spring gets jammed up. But, if Yamato can pull it off.... good for them.

I have the TV version on Hikaru's 1-J and the Urban Camo on Fockers 1-S in 1/48. They look really awesome on display.

+1 I just transformed mine for the first time tonight. Love it, even though these are not my favorite colors in the world. What could I do though, had to add Basara to my Mac7 collection. Can't wait for the other versions to release. Oh, and I used the video from Yamato for the Gerwalk joint and did not have breakage. I was really careful. Also for anyone complaining about the extra parts it is not an issue at all. I actually like how they gave us a centered shield, and maintained anime accuracy in the rear of the plane with the other shield. On the YF-19 it was either too high or too low on the arm. I also appreciate the the neck and thigh covers, makes the it look more sleek.

I can see a sh!t storm of replacement requests coming in, I wonder if they would consider making a ver 1.2 gerwalk joint for this? When I had the same thing happen on my 1/48 VF-1 it broke exacly as everyone is describing this. Although my 1/48 had a poorly molded gerwalk joint. You love keeping secrets

Yeah man I feel you pain. some times HLJ is really slow, but I have had them be really fast also. I think this is the second time I ordered from AmiAmi and both times were pretty fast, and It was a little bit cheaper I think. How many are in your set Kicker? Just by having it in plane mode yet to transform it, I can tell they worked really hard on this valk. I love the feel of it in hand to, has a nice weight.
