Did you pay by Paypal? I live closer, but the total was higher than yours from amiami. I ended up paying $300.99 even though the Paypal currency converter showed it should cost 285.71 USD PayPal exchange rate:1 JPY = 0.0124930 USD. I think the paypal converter lies...... They have provided me the best service out of the 2 shops. Hell amiami actually charged me money for the corrected VF-19 fire valk corrected wings. They made it sound like I could not get them and that they don't provide those kind of services. Then they e-mailed me back and said "You are lucky, we found a set" even though I told them Yamato is re issuing them for a defect. Long story short HLJ has never charged me anything for defective replacement parts, except the SAL charge. Anyways back on topic! I can't wait to get this but I am so low on dipslay space it's crazy. I don't want to have to put one of my other valks back in prison

What would make you guys think that someone would marry a Vajra? I can see it with the Zentran and Meltrandi because they have a humanoid build. Marrying a Vajra is kinda like bestiality if you ask me lol. The Vajra in no way resemble humanoids in any way. And if we all can remember from the original series, Humans and Zentradi are practically the same as far as genetics go. I highly doubt a human and a Vajra can have a child. I mean would it have 2 brains? One in the stomach and one in the head?

I'd bite, I have all of them except the weathered version in my collection. I really want an Alaska base color scheme though. I'm kinda wondering if the v2 VF-1S Low Vis Roy is the only one they are going to release though. Maybe they will release some other color schemes for the VF-1's during the anniversary.

I see the Ozma listed @ $214.99 that's a huge mark up. They are selling the Yamato VF-17s for $399.99.

Wow, the last 2 pics are actually really good. It's looking a lot better than I thought it would. I think the grey color of the intakes could go a tad darker though.

Personally I love this show. I have not watched all of them, but it seems the episodes I do catch are freaking funny as hell. I also though that flap jack was funny too

^^^^ Makes a lot of sense actually. Does anyone remember when white crt monitors were the thing? If they ran constantly the heat buildup would cause them to turn yellow, even if it was cleaned often.

I said the same thing about the Project BM! Kaneda and bike, but I ended up buying them. Deep down inside I think this is alot for a valk on release day, but am teetering on the fence. I may just break down and buy it.

Did all of you guys miss all the sales on the 11-B and C? I got both of mine pretty cheap from HLJ 120-130 on sale. I think it was towards the end of the year and possibly free fed-ex. Was within the same year of the release for both models, that they went on heavy discount. I love them both! I love my Milia 22 also, I got her on sale for cheap too along with my Max and Gamlin. I peeked through the panels to make sure the knee caps where there, but I still have not transformed my Max, Milia or Gamlin. I have transformed my YF-21 extensively though.

Gahhh, this one is driving me nuts. I want all the VF-19's and I did want this at one point, but damn the price points are getting to the point of me maybe tapping out. My goal was to complete the Mac 7 collection, but looking at how much mac7 valks are costing i'm not too sure I will be able to. I am so on the fence ATM about this one. I will wait until final shots of the unit are up and decide then I guess. The weak USD may also drive me out of buying many more Yamato's in the future. I guess time will tell........ Just kinda sucks that I completed SDF-Macross,DYRL,Macross Plus and Macross Zero valk collections and may have to drop off.

It's really funny, but I grew up as a military brat and we had the Armed Forces Network when we lived over seas. I remember Gaiking, Grendizer, and Voltron the most as far as anime growing up. Don't get me wrong, I was a transformers freak though. I remember those series in particular dragging me into anime.

Hey guys, are these molded in color or painted? I had the same thing happen to my kaiyodo Rei evangelion unit. I though it was more to do eith the manufacture not putting enough catalyst in the paint. I could be wrong, it it more seems to be the paint than anything.
