You're halfway there!
-
You'll need to settle with some "badguys"....
-
Someone told me where you can get one done....
-
You see.....companies have been getting the colors wrong on stuff forever! However, I think Arcadia is screwing up intentionally!

Do you prefer TV or DYRL paint scheme?
jvmacross replied to potatotomato's topic in Movies and TV Series
I'm only providing a possible explanation to the OP's source of his ideas regarding the valk "colors"....nothing more, nothing less ...and yet with all the advances in OT...they still can't formulate anti-weathering paint! Guess none of the OT budget went into advancing chemical engineering!!! -
Thanks Marzan!.....the 80's SDFM merchandising machine was prolific, only the MacF one can rival it........just when I think I am "done"....somethings pops up that I have never seen....keeps collecting Macross interesting!

maybe from the Takani, Tenjin and other various valkyrie illustrations? -
Me neither......until I did!

So basically....just use the same link and average out the sales for your version....add around 10% for proxy fees and 30-40 for shipping....that would give you a good estimate of price outside of Japan....http://closedsearch.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/closedsearch?p=1%2F60+yf-21&aq=-1&oq=&ei=UTF-8&slider=0&auccat=0

Since this line isn't too concerned about canon anything....I'd hope for the off-white of the VF-1S....the bright white plastic has a tendency to yellow on the first hi-metal VF-1J release...let's face it...bright white is the worst plastic color to use for any toy that you hope to preserve for years to come..... The bright white colors should only be used when deliberately going for "anime" accurate.....like Yamato did for the SDFM line and Arcadia did for the "DYRL" movie editions.....but don't expect them to look the same in the not so distant future....

Macross Original Theme & BGM Piano Score "book"..............I think this was the last officially licensed and published SDFM TV "book" I had left to find...... Mission accomplished? ..........only time will tell......

Sorry, price would be MIB with box....no box usually deducts about 30-50% for all toys.....but this is a hard to find item and also, most buyers would use them instead of keeping them in the box....so they are an accessory not a stand-alone toy/collectible....I'd say start with 20% off and offer a best offer on auction or price with OBO on a for sale listing.... Good luck!

MIB complete about $350-400 USD.........yours is essentially an "incomplete" sample.....the biggest problem is going to be finding a buyer who doesn't mind the missing part, which is fairly noticeable...I'd say list it with a 10-15% discount and an "OBO".....or sweeten the deal by bundling it with a stand or something similar?

VF-1S TV....no option parts?.....I would say between $125-200 USD subtract 15-20% for box damage....the TV super parts.....$150-200....prices not including shipping and fees....

The Max and Milia -1J's, the VF-1S Roy, the VF-1A cannon fodder.....are all SDFM because that is how they are being marketed...but technically, they are all fitted with DYRL-type armor....I doubt that will change....still buying them though!
-
They blew their 5 year tampo budget on the Anniversario....still slowly recouping.....
-
That is a nice Minmay cel...congrats!
-
Which version? Original release with stand and armor or second release without either?

Well....I guess if folks can post hundreds of pics of the same valks using the same rationale.... ......a personally hand-painted cel would be refreshing to see!

paypal will not refund you anything until you provide proof that the item in question has been returned and that it can be verified that it was sent/received (tracking number).... As for being "banned"....that is a possible outcome.....if enough customers file cases with a particular seller....eventually PayPal will also ban the seller from using PayPal......so ultimately, the seller needs to decide whether to change it's unfair policies when dealing with overseas customers or RISK LOSING OUT ON ALL SALES TRANSACTIONS THAT ARE FACILITATED THROUGH PAYPAL.... I think these sites get away with this nonsense because buyers are just not aware of their rights/protections as buyers via paypal.....take the time to read the services provided to you by paypal....it's worth your time and money.....

the Hi-Metal R line seems to be getting much attention now.....guess that is what happens when scheduled "sell-out" strategies are employed.... How many times has this GBP-1J appeared to have "sold out" everywhere...only to become "available" the next day? Perhaps Bandai is employing a new sales strategy for a line that many may not have considered this time around due to past experiences with it.....basically, to make you think if you do not get it now...you may lose out later....enticing you with a "second", "third", "fourth" chance to buy it before it's too late!!! Anyway, I do hope they eventually come out with everything they have teased us with....I am really liking this line for it's "completeness" in one single scale...the fact that it is all SDFM mecha also helps!
