  1. Out? https://page.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/n209235909
  2. Only one that would lose if that transaction flakes out would be eBay.....and perhaps your hopes I suppose...
  3. Winter is here! http://www.ebay.com/itm/Arcadia-Macross-1-60-Perfect-Transformation-VF-1S-Hikaru-Ichijo-with-Strike-Part-/201896853532?hash=item2f01fd801c:g:XxIAAOSwmCVY9rhG 30 bucks....who's taking one for the team?

Even these get boxart? Not Tenjin but still cool!
  5. It depends on what you value more in life....your time or your money... Sure you can grab a slightly better deal on Mandarake.....but the odds are you won't, especially now a days.....Mandarake undervalues their stock because they pay "peanuts" to the poor schmucks bringing in their stuff to sell at their stores....think pawn shops....and you have to be "in the right place at the right time" to catch those "deals".... On YJA, only your will-power will stand in your way of buying and acquiring anything you want, when you want it, at current market prices....and like any commodity, the price will fluctuate up or down, depending on who is "in the market" for the same thing you are looking to buy at any given moment.....sometime you get lucky and find a "good deal", but you will never pay more than what it's worth, as long as you don't get carried away in a "bidding war"............to some....that's a pretty good deal
  6. Pretty sure many here would be happy to buy fully assembled "unpainted" VF-1's with -S, -A, and -J heads included. Arcadia better hope they don't have their molds copied. It's like the old Takatoku KO days all over again. Poor Arcadia.
  7. Works almost like eBay. YJA allows auctions to continue past the original listed closing time so they are more like live auctions that do not end until all bidders are done bidding. You will need to use a proxy to place your bids. The official proxy bidding company is Buyee. Buyee is very easy to use and their fees are among the lowest. I have yet to have a bad experience with either YJA or Buyee. YMMV. Good luck and don't bid on any of my auctions!
  8. I want one in HM-R scale......EXO?
  9. Congrats! I am guessing that the boxed one currently on YJA should fetch around 50K....maybe more if collectors are unsure about it's re-issue prospects....I think it all depends on a VF-1D re-issue announcement.... Personally, I like to keep my boxes....I don't plan on selling any of my older Yamato VF's any time soon....but like acquiring that 3rd copy of any collectible......I hold onto my boxes...."just in case"

Let us know.... monster and glaug combined shipping for 6380....not bad....so about 170 USD shipped if you just went with the Monster?
  20. jvmacross

    Hi-Metal R

Yep.....the price would not affect the shipping cost...same cost between the minty one and the not-so-minty one....if you go for it, let us know what the total was.....that would probably be the max limit of what I would want to pay for any additional Monsters.....I am good with three for now, but that means one says MISB.....would really like three for a good diorama display....

If other collectors are also holding out on those AmiAmi Monster's....then I think we should see some further discounts on them sometime before EOY....so keep a watchful eye... They are at 15,800 now.... http://www.amiami.com/top/detail/detail?scode=FIGURE-017242 ....or you can get one mint inside a not-so-pristine box right now? 13,600 JPY 49% off! http://www.amiami.com/top/detail/detail?scode=FIGURE-017242-D001 The only issue with AmiAmi is the shipping cost for the Monster....think it is 60+ USD...

That would be great.... Also, I was at first surprised that a non-Japanese was in charge of the HM-R line, which is essentially a Macross line. But the more I think of it, the more it makes sense. Macross, initially by ways of "Robotech" is known by collectors all over the world. It was wise for Bandai to have brought on to the HMR project someone who could appreciate the love of "Macross" beyond the confines of the Japanese market. Based on the parts of the interview I listened too...it seems Bandai is completely aware of their "market" outside of Japan...wink, wink, nudge, nudge.....HG was foolish in being so greedy with the franchise, they could have been riding the Macross train at all of it's stops throughout the years since 1982....instead of getting stuck on SDFM station. None of that matters now.....thank you web commerce and paypal! Thank You Bandai!
