  1. Ohsato Toy & Model's "Bang Bang" Macross Shooting Game... Another amazingly quirky Macross product offering from the greatest purveyor of Macross kitsch of all time! Ever wanted to realize your fantasies of taking out the enemy....of the Zentradi!?! Now you can with the "Bang Bang" Macross Shooting Game! As seen on TV!
  2. Osato Toys definitely had the most unusual Macross toy/collectible selections of the SDFM era. Luckily, I already had acquired the "Bang Bang" set a while back...I had it posted up but not sure what happened to it. I'll get the pics back up as soon as I can find my original listing pics.

Every now and then the VEFR-1 comes up in some thread....as far as I know, no one has attempted a conversion of either a Yamato/Arcadia 1/60 or an HMR. Would love to see one of our resident custom pros attempt it. I bet Yamato would have eventually released one... Maybe a custom built part could be done via 3D with an attachment point on it? Would probably need some parts for the wings and tailfins too. Can't tell if the recon equipment is the same, but if not, a TV/DYRL hybrid would be perfectly acceptable!

Basically the VEFR-1 is the SDFM "TV" equivalent of DYRL's version of a reconnaissance aircraft.... Was just trying to answer the OP's question...can a VE-1 be used within the Earth's atmosphere...in, short yes....bringing up the VEFR-1 was just to show the "TV" really had no SSP so just like any regular VF-1, sort of in the configuration of his photos, so it should be able to fly just fine within Earth's atmosphere and also in space

They sure could....in "TV' lore the VE-1 ElintSeeker you just posted is called a VEFR-1 "Funny Chinese"
  9. Still haven't found my DYRL Storyboard book, however, I had completely forgot about this gem which was included with The Super Dimension Fortress Macross: Do You Remember Love? HD Remastered Edition Memorial Box DVD set... This thick little book contains the entire storyboards for DYRL....and into scenes for what later became part of FB2012. Additionally, it includes the storyboards for the DYRL movie preview and the storyboards for Sega Saturn's fantasic Macross game intro scene! A sneak peek of what you will find within the covers! 10. Thanks! Sheltering in place has made me venture into the archives...bad year to try and give up on pure nostalgia!
  11. ...and one henkei to rule them all.....
  12. I would be more interested in knowing how long Arcadia has the VF-1 "1/60" scale tied up for....I can't see those Bandai DX's at 1/48 going much past Skull and Vermillion squadrons.....I would want it to go out with a first-ever VF-1D at minimum....and the addition of a VE-1 and VT-1 if dreams do come true...lol
  13. Who knows but at this point I think it is safe to assume they have some license to it...who knows which scale though.....if we see a DX VF-19 Kai announcement...then we'll know... The biggest hint so far is found in this pic.... So far we have 3 out of the 5 pictured.... So could be a "hiding in plain sight" situation in terms of what to expect...
  14. LOL....guess I wasn't the only one who couldn't remember the character names!
  15. Ha! I definitely know Mylene....and like I said, to me Immelman will be the "type" of VF-22 that hopefully Bandai will release once they start milking the -21/22 mold!
  16. @derex3592I gave up after a minute and had to look them up online....heck I couldn't even remember the Jenius girl's name, well other than her last name......for some reason I did remember "Immelman"...but I think that is only because I want Bandai to release a VF-22 "Immelman" version...after the YF-21, of course! For some reason, I can remember quite a few if not most of the Macross F characters... Maybe I'll give Macross Delta a rewatch....I bought a bootleg BD set with subs off eBay some time ago.....now would be a good opportunity I suppose
  17. Mute the sound and play this instead....

Have you tried to create that SFX accessory using your hot glue gun technique? It looks really good on the gunpod... So much love for Episode 2!
  19. Where's my big ass sound bazooka and SOC Battle 7?!?!
  20. Congrats! The VF-19 Kai, piloted by Basara Nekki on the Macross 7 TV show and movies, is a controversial "Variable Fighter" in the Macross Universe among its fans. Some are put off by it's paint scheme, but most find the inclusion of a "face" on the VF-19 Kai.....unacceptable.... I honestly think it is fine, considering that it is part of a flying band called Fire Bomber, which eventually becomes Sound Force... VF-19 Kai... Basara Nekki....Leader of Fire Bomber/Sound Force .....and just to keep things in perspective.....the other two Variable Fighters (VF) that form the rest of Fire Bomber/Sound Force are the VF-11 MAXL...a variant of the VF-11 VF...but with not only a "face" but boobs too! And the VF-17T dual seater.....for the team's bassist and drummer!! Sound Force in action!
  21. Is it one of these? https://auctions.yahoo.co.jp/closedsearch/closedsearch?p=プラモデル+バンダイ+1%2F100+VF-19改+&ei=UTF-8&exflg= If so....then it is probably valued at around $35usd. The problem is that the kit has enjoyed several reissues, which will always have some affect on an original release. If your kit is not represented in the link, perhaps you can post a picture of it. Good luck.
