That has been the dream diorama for me for years! I always loved this image..... Which in combination with other Macross and non-Macross real-life hangar imagery lead me to this.... Maybe I can fit the CalWings elevator into that "hole" in my chainbase display.....would probably have to then switch to 1/100 HMR or 1/72 CalWing VF-1's....then I would have to find a way to add a carrier deck above it...I have considered using old GI Joe USS Flagg carrier deck parts for that, but never went ahead and bought them...

That is one of my favorite posters. It is printed from an original painting done by Kawamori. Luckily for you it also happens to be relatively easy to find. There are usually a couple listed on YJA throughout the year. Check your PM.

Oh no....Calibre Wings better not use the same colors seen on the show, heck someone may rat on them for the elevator floor sort of looking similar already..... Placing your VF-1J Hikaru PO now! https://www.flyingmule.com/products/CL-CA72RB09 https://www.flyingmule.com/coupons/popup.shtml

yeah, but into what? More "legit" licensed Macross for everyone, anywhere....or more instances of unlicensed Macross in leiu of the lack of licensed product? Per CalWings, it seemed they attempted to get a "license" from BW.....why wouldn't they have granted it? They have in the past. Maybe they do not like CalWings recent involvement with HG, which would be petty, especially since they seem to be so concerned about the "fans"....
-
Macross fans/collectors/customers outside of Japan are technically irrelevant to BW.....just like BW's unsolicited "warning" should be to anyone outside of Japan.....I also find it hypocritical for BW to have posted an English translation of their "warning"... I 100% support Calibre Wings on this release...hopefully they can get it out to the wild without any problems

I'd definitely buy a Bandai DX "Alaska Base" VF-1A....due to having to "Catch 'Em All"...but I'm good for now....

At least per the anime.... Yamato thought otherwise....

The mini figs are actually pencil sharpeners from a long-time purveyor of Macross stationery items....Seika....they basically are blind boxed..the good news is that buying an entire set guarantees you get the ones pictured on the boxes....luckily for you, the 2 you need come in the same box set!....the bad news is that there were 20 figs + 2 chase figures....meaning you had to buy multiple sets to make sure you were able to "Catch 'em All!"....there is one on ebay now, but there is no way of finding out if it contains the 2 little Fockers you need since it appears the box is sealed.....I may have some extras of the 2 Fockers, but it would take some time to find them in my archives.... As for the Takatoku vinyls, henkeis, and 1/100 VF-1S's......patience is the only thing I can advise you with.....to give you some perspective, the small VF-1S vinyl figurine was only released as part of the 4-pack set I posted.....so, in short, it is extremely rare....I have seen some come up individually on auction, but be prepared to "assume the hard core collector's position" to acquire it.....that goes double for the Takatoku VF-1S 1/100....triple for the large Takatoku VF-1S vinyl.....maybe just forget everything I said and take the blue pill and adjust your parameters....you think a Takatoku VF-1S henkei is a hard target....try a Super VF-1S henkei....

Not bad, but think I'll wait to try and get it at the non-middleman price...

The links are still valid and still show the item descriptions used in the original listings....just click on one of the links and use google translate to find out. Just for your info, the 1/48 Yamato's (with a few exceptions) and 1/60 Yamato's that have since been made "obsolete" with newer versions, such as the Bandai DX YF-19, have more or less lost much of their value. It really doesn't make much of a difference to the current market price wether it is opened/used/displayed or MISB, unless you happen to find a collector who insists on MISB or "brand new, never removed from box"....in that case I would estimate that you can possibly get a 10-20% premium on top of the market price of used samples. Hope that helps.

OK, so you need the Takatoku 1/144 Macross Collection Series VF-1S, the Takatoku Small Vinyl VF-1S, the Takatoku Large Vinyl VF-1S, and the Takatoku VF-1S Henkei Type....time to update that wanted list....you are officially playing the long game.... I think you said you do not want any SD in the VF-1S army, but does that also inlcude non-SD Keshigomu figures? These will not be painted to show off the Focker Special colors, but I do see that you have included the Absolute Chogokin VF-1S, so not sure what your VF-1S army inclusion parameters are? What about the 2 Focker Battroids from this set...TV and DYRL Strike? Ready to find out what's below the bottom of the rabbit hole?....
-
Which six? Are these VF-1S battroids on your list? I do not see them in your Focker Family group shot? I thought you had just wanted to create a "history" of Kanzen Henkei VF-1S's but it looks like that plan has evolved.

Yes, checking at least once a day....probably going to end up using Hobby Search, HLJ, or AmiAmi....unless you are OK with buying via a proxy, then Amazon.jp or Rakuten Books are currently available...but I personally want to avoid the middle man.
