    Yep....it was freezing last year in the Chicago area....but that has never stopped the kids (or their parents) around here from trick-or-treating...lol Heck....I can't recall a decent Halloween night in terms of the weather for some time.....still enjoy it though....will probably skip the Pumpkin Farms with the kids though....thinking about some othe "safer" alternatives....

    Anyone started decorating for Halloween yet? Still not even sure how trick-or-treating is going to be handled in my neck of the woods...how about in your areas?

    May be worth going through the magazines of the era....although we often are surprised to find new things we did not know of.....an official "limited movie tie-in" kit would have been something that would have been promoted......if it actually exists I would be more surprised that Shawn was not aware of it...

    No worries, glad to share! It is pretty cool that the "C" variant was sneaked into the lineup in kit form....and then it made a second appearance when ARII released those awful "toys" based off of the kits years later...lol I would insta-buy a book covering the history of Macross merchandising/marketing during the SDFM/DYRL era

    There is always a buyer for these type of collectibles.....I personally do not care much for non-canon schemes, but exceptions are made from time to time if they look good, for example the F-14 "VF-1D" limited release....perhaps a limited edition "Black Aces" 2-pack boxset "MiM-31 Karyovin v. F203 Dragon II" would be sufficient....the 2-pack M&M is pretty cool and sets a precedent for a 2-pack 1/72 scale diecast set

    Calibre Wings doesn't seem to have a problem doing Macross-themed multiple paint variants of even non-VF-1 fighters.....

    Even if the elevator would be able to carry the weight, the VF-0 would be too large to fit on the elevtor deck, as with most other "1/60" VF's, other than the VF-1
