    It will take a few more days for some collectors to realize that the prophesized "extra" stock of DX TV VF-1S's at MSRP are not going to happen....then the panic will start and the mad rush to grab the cheapest one you can get before it's "too late" will begin....at that point the sellers on YJA and Amazon will react to the increased demand and will start increasing their prices accordingly....will they eventually reach Hikaru VF-1J levels....probably

    Yeah...you can certainly pretend it never happened, but as long as it remains canon, every show Lucasfilm releases that takes place before the events of the ST is simply just a show heading towards that mess....the journey in this case is turning out to be much more enjoyable than the destination

    In the past I would have expected non-canon schemes to be completely in the realm of Yamato, but there is some recent precedent for non-canon stuff coming from Bandai....the most recent being the HMR Focker VF-4...so it's possible they may want to get more out of their GBP DX mold....especially separate TV and DYRL versions

    yeah....I thought he was a clone since the first episode..... http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/topic/45947-the-mandalorian-star-wars-webseries-from-jon-favreau/?do=findComment&comment=1495575 .....he could be Yoda in the DNA sense, but not the Yoda we have known prior to The Mandalorian...that would be odd even using the "World Between Worlds" concept....taking Yoda out of any point of his life/timeline affects his existence in the remainder of his timeline...so if you pluck him out at birth/50 years after and then place him into the timeline of the Mandalorian means he has not existed or been a part of any Star Wars character's life in the 900 years that he had been alive.....of course, if that happened, then the events in the Mandalorian are not occurring based on the events we currently know about...meaning PT and OT events as we know them.....but based on what we have seen on the Mandalorian, I feel that we are still following along the timeline that has been established by the films of the PT and ST and anything in-between..... Regardless, anything inbetween ROTJ and TROS is now ultimately part of Darth Sidious' (or someone else's?) long game.... As a side note...I really do not like the concept of the "World Between Worlds" or time travel in Star Wars...essentially Star Wars is now ripe for rebooting anything and anyone....it may as well be part of Disney's Marvel Multiverse I guess none of this should come as a shock to any of us........

    Anyone else think the colors on this are off? I feel the white deck is the biggest problem.....I guess it can be painted, but not into needing to customize anything I buy.....perhaps CalWings can sell an "anime" version which matches the SDFM TV colors seen during the OP without needing to specifically license it as "Robotech/Macross"...I would look forward to someone here customizing theirs to match this pic....

    "satisfactorily"? I suppose you can argue that the storyline that began with TFA could have ended with TLJ....but any sense of "satisfaction" is the complete opposite of what most Star Wars fans felt at that point.... Of course, there hardly was any unanimous "satifaction" (other than relief the ST was over?) at the end of TROS, but it beats ending it at such a low point....the "Resistance" obliterated, the "new" New Hope being a nobody, Luke dying for nothing, broom boy......if the OT had ended at ESB and then picked up at TLJ, Luke's character may have made more sense...........beaten down and shocked by the revelation of his lineage may have scared him into hiding as we see him in TLJ......but then the movie would not have ended with his "sacrifice"....it would have picked off at his return as seen in ROTJ....except 30-40 years later...... To me, TLJ is such garbage that it made TROS, and probably something even worse than TROS, seem better

    Well, that's good and bad.....good because you can skip it and just know things got a whole lot better (content-wise) going from TLJ to The Mandalorian... Bad because no matter how good The Mandalorian is...it all just culminates with TROS (in-universe) whether you ever watch TROS or not.... Actually, it may be worse because if you ever decide to finally watch TROS sometime after The Mandalorian concludes....you'll wonder how things went so bad in-universe too!

    If you want it shortly after release, hope for Amazon.jp to open it up for overseas delivery....if that happens I will be switching my HLJ PO and hope to get it in my hands via Amazon's DHL shipping in no time!

    yeah, for me...optional...only because for the most part I can easily find another copy if I needed to a year later without having to spend at least double the price for it! Try doing that with a DX VF-1.....
