    Their customer service did take a massive hit when their original customer service rep left KC....there is no excuse for how they bungled up all of the pending CS work that the previous rep left behind... With that said, I have yet to be thrown under the bus by KC....the last issue I had with them involved several VF-1 parts to repair several of their toys that I had purchased from them during the span of 1 year....in the end, they came through for me at the 11th hour and remain 100% in terms of CS responses and resolution...that is something I cannot say for many other toy companies... Having to order something else so they can include what they had already promised and accepted by you for "making up" for their past mistakes is unacceptable...so I would totally understand if you are through with them.... If you still have an itch for 1/72 VF-1's, perhaps the upcoming 1/72 from Three-Zero may be an option for you....good luck!

    Hoping it's close to the blue-grey used on the recent Max and Miriya Super VF-1Js.... Went ahead and placed my PO.... At this point they may as well just do the Alaska Base VF-1A as a limited run too....and include -1J and -1S heads!

    That paint scheme looks good....I wonder if it is the same grey blue color used for the Max and Miriya fast packs....if so I like that paint color....

    Thanks...can't really tell from your pic....if the tab is not on the back edge of the leg, then it is a V 2.0

    You cannot control who is bidding on the same items as you...winning is just a matter of you wanting it more badly than the other bidders and having the ability to outspend the competition..........LOL Which is why Mercari is the great equalizer! If you are on the site at the right time, you can score some ridiculously priced stuff...

    The only items shown at shows teasing re-releases have been the oss Frontier DX toys.. We were lucky that Bandai had the audacity to even release the HMR Monster in the first place....they probably just broke even on it at best....but it got our attention and respect! Hoping they finally release the remaining Destroids soon....we've been waiting for years now for a complete set of HMR "in scale" Macross Destroids....WTH Bandai!

    We'll probably never know the extent of merchandising in the SDFM-DYRL era...but I can imagine if something could have had a Macross image plastered onto it...it probably existed at some point in 80's Japan...

    Looks pretty cool, but decided to stay away from the non-canon schemes...I like this style of box with the cover that goes over the plastic shell instead of using flaps...would prefer if they used those on the rest of their VF releases.... So V 2.X? This is the reason why I am hesitant on getting another Hikaru Vf-1J....not sure if they are just selling the remainder of their V 2.0 supply with that Vermillion package deal or if the VF-1J is the V 2.X with the modified leg tabs.... BTW...I really wish they would just come out with a "low-viz" version like the one sold by Yamato in 1/48 form years ago....I also like the blue-grey used on the fast packs used for the VF-1J Max and Miriya....a VF-1 painted in that color would look pretty cool too...

    There is no way for you to have specifically known if I or anyone else would have been bidding....it's like that on any online auction these days....it's been like that for decades...lol

    My guess is this will be an officer uniform Miriya....which means we may get a new Lisa (Misa) deluxe figure... I do hope they milk the Miriya figure...a Meltran pilot Miriya would be nice

    At this point we are just discussing hypothetical releases....with that said, as someone who has been buying these VF-1s from KC from the start....I would highly doubt that they would not tampo the heck out of clear plastic editions of these Arcade VF-1As...their tampo applications has been sort of their thing from the very beginning...
