I was dead set against the trained Raptor thing too, the communication issue never made sense to me given how many other animals can actually communicate with each other. Given that I now understand that this is like a completed theme park in the style Hammond had always envisioned the product placement stuff you mentioned seems pretty realistic given EVERY major sports arena on the planet is named for a company.

Interesting to hear that the trailers are misleading. The trailers put me off the movie big time but I might have to change my mind about seeing it in the theater based on the reviews and impressions here.

Dude, I'm getting the re-release of Samurai Vader (skipped the origina..) And I'm buying the ENTIRE Stormtrooper armada they're planning to make. Totally down for the Royal Guard too. This thing is really amazing.

I've not been able to take photos yet but I just wanted to say HOLY EFF, this Ashigaru Stormtrooper IS. AWESOME. Amazing piece of artwork. It looks better in person. A few oddities, the legs can pop off easily. There doesn't appear to be ankle rockers either. I don't really understand why it's been out for a week and there hasn't been a review for it anywhere online yet. I recommend everybody get one. The real litmus test, my nearly seventy year old Mom described it as a piece of art.

We're way off topic here, but I think it would be evenly matched. Max is even and precise, Isamu has the advantage of being reckless. Being unpredictable can throw off almost anyone. Some of the tampo looks good, other parts are big, blotchy and obnoxious like on the 171.

A VF-4 re-issue would be very cool. I would jump on a third one if it happened.

Is the 0D obscure though? Being one of the most prominent fighters in Zero hardly seems obscure.
