  1. If you're in doubt about the 1/72 Falcon, the 1/144 kit is a great and affordable alternative. I built it last year and I think it is one of the best injection SF kits ever. More pics here.
  2. Ikuto Yamashita just called and wants his plane back.
  3. He ended up in Limbo and will meet Saito soon...
  4. It definitely did not get the love they gave their 1/100 EX kits.
  5. After creating tons of fascinating anime and game characters they give us something that looks like a water-corpse?
  6. I start to like it, but it's certainly way more into the anime realm than the previous Macross F designs.
  7. You must mistake me for somebody else, I never proposed such a hybrid. The pictured kit is from the Gundam 00 sidestory 00P and conveniently offered by Bandai as a HG kit: 1.5 Gundam I just made some minor detail upgrades and gave it a different paintjob.
  8. There are still some refinements to do, but I just took a shot of this sleek guy
  9. Yup, it's the Hobby Boss kit. Details are very good, and it's very affordable. Some may consider the lack of full intake tunnels a weakness, but you really have to go in there with a flashlight to notice it. I think the decals could be better and will look for a replacement set. There's a detailed review at arcforums
  10. A rare sight on my desk: An aircraft that is not from an anime or game.
  11. I think I could live with all the other small inaccuracys of the Zvezda kit, but the wrong size of the cockpit is a big turn-off for me. However, there seems to be a nice resin kit around:
  12. The T-50 kit is already out in Russia and somebody did a quick build: Taken from here
  13. I took a closer look at the new material on the Zvezda HP. I think the cockpit is far too large There's also an alternative kit from Pit-Road in 1/144, but it brings it's own issues: http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10135288
  14. You only get the impression because of the Dreamlifter in the background.
  15. Just a typo. It should read tile loop, of course.
  16. Source Code This is directed by "Moon"'s Duncan Jones, and I like the rather minimalistic setup.
  17. I'm surprised the idea didn't get exploited earlier: http://steelgetsreal.com/ Unfortunately, the robots look totally silly, and Hugh Jackmann isn't a guarantee for a good movie anymore, either.
  18. I remember that the "who is infected" tension creeped me out more than the actual monsters, who were too over-the-top for my taste. But I found the dissected stuff at the deserted station very disturbing. Great designs.
  19. Combustion engines. I mean, this is the 21st century, right? I want my solar-powered hovercar NOW!
  20. A great Monster from the January issue of Hobby Japan:
  21. Don't forget mutilating his own father in the process.
  22. Found a nice built of the 1/200 Monster in splinter camo paintjob: http://www.modelers-g.jp/modules/myalbum/photo.php?lid=5895
  23. Hobby Japan has combined the new Wave legs with the Imai Defender torso
  24. Now for some more important news: Zvezda will bring us a 1/72 kit of the T-50! Hobbysearch link Oh and Hasegawa is working on a proper SU-33 in 1/72.
  25. Mind to show some of that? I think the VF-4 and VF-11 just barely fit into Hasegawa's realm of realistic aircraft designs, the VF-2SS wouldn't survive a redesign. Imagine it being riddled with rivets! PS I also voted for a 1/48 Saab Viggen.
