I remember that the "who is infected" tension creeped me out more than the actual monsters, who were too over-the-top for my taste. But I found the dissected stuff at the deserted station very disturbing. Great designs.

Now for some more important news: Zvezda will bring us a 1/72 kit of the T-50! Hobbysearch link Oh and Hasegawa is working on a proper SU-33 in 1/72.

Mind to show some of that? I think the VF-4 and VF-11 just barely fit into Hasegawa's realm of realistic aircraft designs, the VF-2SS wouldn't survive a redesign. Imagine it being riddled with rivets! PS I also voted for a 1/48 Saab Viggen.

I'm actually more annoyed by the "Oldboy" remake.

I have both the old Tomahawk and Defender, and the (Imai) Defender is already a major improvement against the (ARII) Tomahawk. I agree that the new Wave kits are fantastic, but there's no reasom for a somewhat experienced modeler to shy away from the old kits. I think you can get great results with the Regult and Monster with an OOB build and a good paintjob.

It's from the December issue. I think the leg articulation mod is the most important to give this kit a decent appearance. Surface detail was ok on the Imai kits, so if you can live with the deviations from the original art, work on these seams, give it a nice paintjob and build up your Destroid Army without shelling out a fortune on garage kits or the updated releases.

Here's a shot of the "Future Car" version: Proportion and surface detail is excellent. The interior is a bit simple, so modders can go all out there. Doors open, and you can change the front wheels and covers from flying to driving configuration.

Yeah, Syd Mead is still a Sentury ahead.

Ok this toy has a long story with license issues (so it went under the name "Future Car"), but it seems they are kinda sorted out now, and fans will finally get their official 1/18 scale Blade Runner Spinner Police Car.
