  10. I'm no Trek fan but this is some sad news. For me and many others, when we think of Trek, we think of Spock.
  11. You're thinking of the soft vinyl (sofbi / sofubi) version, I believe. I think it was a different scale.
  12. I would buy a Spartan in olive drab. I was never much of a fan of the Defender and Phalanx though. I would buy a Monster but at 1/60, it ain't gonna happen
  13. For me it was absolutely a good buy. I have two. It's likely going to be the most accurate Battroid for the 19 in this scale for some time. Fighter mode is beautiful. Battroid mode is beautiful and it even looks good in Gerwalk. I have two Bandai's along the way but I can tell their 19 is not gonna be like the 19 I saw in Plus (in terms of proportions; obviously it's not the same since it's a VF designation and not a YF). It should be a fun one to own as well but if you're looking for a PLUS version 19, the Arcadia is gonna be pretty hard to pass up imho.
  14. Olive drab Tommy is the best Tommy. It's the only Destroid I have in 1/60!
  15. The conformal tanks come off, right? Man, that twitter guy has a ton of Valks and aircraft.
  16. I heard NY is more tax friendly to those who live in countries that charge a high import tax. If you're in the US, you should go HLJ when you can since tax is a non-factor for us.
  17. Aw, man. It's one of them white paper stickers that rip easy. Notoriously hard to get off. I've done it successfully quite a few times but it's a time consuming bitch. You're right though. I've neatly removed about 99% of all stickers (vinyl and paper), tape, adhesives etc by taking my time and slowly pulling (and I mean very slowly pulling) the sticker tape back. Glue-B-Gone and stuff like that is reserved for plastic surfaces only (like on some blister card packages). If you were to look at my boxes and inspected them closely, you wouldn't even be able to tell that there was ever any tape on them at all. I hate tape/stickers. That stuff ages badly and ruins your boxes over time. For those white paper stickers, sometimes it can't be helped that they rip like that. You have the right idea that you slowly pick away at it though. Be careful with your fingernails though. I don't have long nails but try not to make scratches on the surface of the box. Once you have one corner up enough to grasp and pull, you start pulling slow. Sometimes I use the tackiness of the sticker/tape and dab the flap down to adhere any remaining glue residue back to the sticker/tape then I continue to keep pulling. For any additional adhesive tackiness, take the tacky back of the sticker (or other tape sometimes) and slowly dab at the remaining adhesive until the box is clean. Again, there's an art to doing this and if you take a lot of time and go slow, you'll be able to remove everything. Now the important thing is to avoid ripping the box. If you start to see the box rip at all or even feel that it is, stop and try and come in at it by pulling from the opposite direction. It's best to work in sections on the bigger stickers. It's not impossible and even that white paper sticker can come off easy as long as you take your time. The only times I've been unsuccessful and ripped stuff was when I was impatient. Did I mention go slow? If you think you're going slow, you probably aren't pulling at the sticker slow enough.
