    I picked up the kaki tv from Angolz for $98 shipped. I'm gonna try to custom paint it for an Alaska base.

    WHOAAA!!! Hoooooold up....how do I get my hands on that GIANT FAN LINER toy??!!! As someone who grew up watching Robotech and I have most of the toys that came out back then, I never ever remember seeing any of those in stores.... were they ever actually manufactured? Those commercials are epically bad however....good stuff

    They are actually most of the landing gear parts for the model itself, along with some random unused parts from the kit glued on randomly. I kept them all for a rainy day....

    I think I'm glad I never purchased the Yamato 1:60 Ver. 2 to assemble...I'm fine with mine coming assembled... LOL! ... Anyway, I've been working on my junkyard parts for my millennium falcon diorama while I wait on the acrylic case to get here. Getting some good weathering practice in with these!

    I'd love to drive it...see how it compares to my Z06...But it's a track monster, totally not an everyday driver.

    Which is why i never put any stickers on my FireValk or my 19F. Usually I'm all about stickers, panel lines, and details but on this you just gotta go for that "cartoon" look.

    Angloz has some pretty good prices on Yamato stuff right now....tempted to pickup a Kaki TV and use it to try to make my never-gonna-happen Alaska Base Valk!!!!

    LOL! that's exactly what I do with a new Valk! quite weekend night at kitchen table with a good beer in hand. Ipad in front of me for internet video helps a whole lot as well. There is one guy on YouTube with an older videos of some transformations that are good..can't remember his name, but he has fighter to battroid AND reverse back to fighter for the YF-21 which is the only reason I EVER figured that one out. LOL.

    Agreed. I owned only one 1:48 VF-1S which I bought only about 3 months before the 1:60 V2 hit the stores. I'm glad I got in on the v2's. The 1:48 was very cool for it's time, and I still have mine, I just love the smaller, tighter, better v2 sooo much more.

    Ignore the Yamato manuals guys...watch Collection DX or Anymoon's transformation videos. MUCH MUCH better.

    Yamato transformations = sometimes VERY FIRM but VERY GENTLY in my book.

    The 19F is just beautiful. Probably my favorite Mac7 Valk. Highly recommended.

    Congrats! I have the 11C and it is a sweet toy. Have to disagree about the Fire Valk though...I guess Basara is a love/hate thing! Regardless though...the 19's are the best engineering Yamato has done IMHO, followed closely by the VF-4G.
