That sort of thing can be taken seriously by people who aren't necessarily "in on the joke". No, I know it ain't serious... but it makes Macrossworld look pretty creepy/scary and that isn't very funny, y'know? You're kidding right?? Almost 90% of the M7 related treads are just bashing and flames fun, I don't even pay much attention to them anymore, however it's a great source for funny comments, I didn't like the series, period, it's not like I hate everyone who has to do or like it, chill out buddy! we're just having fun here!

See it is a whole Giant Space Monster conspiracy. They knew of his original idea so the GSM capture him, brainwashed him to make sure they were not intimidating to prepare the grounds for their invation, we will think they are a bunch of sissy monsters... And by the way, whoever draw the space monsters, I don't care who was responsible but he was having a regression to childhood or was trying some sabotage on the show... my 10 year old nephiew does better with scary monsters PS: somebody mentioned the original script for M7 was different to that sissy show we ended with, any comments on this version?? Well, I rather have a movie like Van helsing than all that piss poor crap that keeps coming and coming like spiderman, hellboy, hulk and Harry Dorker wich in my opinion are not worth a penny, if they could start doing new stuff instead of bringing back all those crappy and stupid comic heroes, even crap like Alien vs Predator! how could they let people do that to the greatest sci-fi terror franchise ever? Ridley Scott and Gigger made something awesome in Alien..now some guy is mixing two completely different characters in one movie... damn! but looks like the movie industry is going downhill, however I guess we kind of need a couple of new good directors, with a good vision IMHO Lord of the rings is a great series of books, the movies however are overrated and badly executed and trully a turd in my list however they got oscars and everything, some burocrats were around I guess. Remake? I don't think so, however it would be awesome if they took everything made by Animefriend (anime sh..t IMO) and reanimate those parts, only animation, not even the voices or sound have to be altered, use the same ones on the audio track! That would be feasible, and not as expensive as a complete remake, I keep thinking that the animation made by studio nue is great even by todays standars... animefriend on the other way can kiss my a.s.

I keep thinking that instead of doing that POS of a series that Macross 7 is, they should have done something on the tone of Zeta gundam, a series that has "magic" (newtype powers) and doesn't look stupid and in fact it makes the pace of the series more atractive, most of the story included in M7 could have been done to look as good as the original series or M+ are, but they went the cheesy and crappy way and that's why it's so hard to swallow for most people, in some cases I really wonder what the makers were thinking as most of the series is full of filler and doesn't even deliver anything, just a selfish loser that want's everybody to hear his songs and doesn't care that half city is left in ruins while running away from the enemy and singing (for example check ep 14), everything was made to look anoying on purpose IMHO. Everybody can say whatever they want about the series but like it or not its full of crap and for sure it's not on par with the original series, Macross 7 should have been done like a separate story, not related to macross. Again I put as an example zeta gundam, something with that tone would have been a true follower, but instead we're stuck with the stupid mechas and crappy characters and to put it even worse it's cannon and whatever comes after the M7 era will have maybe some of the crappy desings or stupid singing technology... If only they made M7 as a soap opera inside the Macross universe like DYRL that it's a movie inside MW.. Later folks

It's a series that don't deliver and is full of cheese and crap, beyond the stupid enemies, characters and crappy mecha...even worse that singing loser is everywhere to be seen.... I agree with the Radio shack nippers, they're inexpensive and good enough, if you're into nippers and want the best of the best look for a brand called "Zuron" it's available on most good online model shops, however after years of modeling and trying to get the best sprue cutter nothing has work best for me than Lexan scissors, you can find 'em on the RC car section of hobby shops, they're simple looking scissors but extremely rugged and you get very sharp cuts with them, the're made to cut the bodies of RC cars (since they're made of lexan... dooh!)expect to pay from 5 to 8 bucks. Mylene's valk is possibly one of the worst blasphemies macross 7 brought into the macross universe along with the resto of clown force, so why not paint it with some decent colors and try to alter the basic design into something not that sh.ty?? Surely it can be done without much problem! Just my 0.2 cents

Simple answer.... it's one of the hundreds of stupidities that Macross 7 represents... By the way, the fire Valkyrie looks rather nice if you delete the clown face and some of smaller details.. however they should have given Basara a Glaug instead of raping such a nice design like the -19.., after giving M7 a couple of oportunities I still think it's not really bad and I've seen worse, but the sh--t in the show outweighs its good things.. at least Kawamori said that he will never touch again something like that... I would have loved the show if somebody had killed Basara in a horrible way, hanging him by the balls would be good but he has none, both Ray and Chiba dismembered or stoned would be really good too and last but not least all the clown force VFs burned, some may say why I didn't mentioned Mylene.. well, I don't find her really anoying, same for Gamlin, Docker in the other side died and I was happy with that, Millia needed a little b.tch slap but she was fine in most cases, and just to finish my completely out of track Macross 7 bashing the Protodevilin are the worst enemies they could have thought.. not only stupid but also a bunch of losers who had a man that looks like a chick as a leader.. why not a women that looks like a women or a man that looks like a man?? it's a mistery.... and if you have seen Ranma 1/2 guess what??
