  1. At one point it was "I urinate" when "I ruminate" was probably closer to what was meant.
  2. I've lost track as they have gone by.
  3. He had off ramps for all the characters including the main ones. In a way having Sinclair out (and knowing he would be out well before the end of the first season) allowed him to set things up for later seasons. Ivanava's replacement was the one character that didn't quite work out, a single season was not enough to give the new actor a chance and the need to finish off the main plot in season 4 left season 5 drifting along for a number of episodes. Felt like filler - which the show had really managed to avoid till then, even though some of the first season felt like filler there was a lot that was hooks for later. As for the show, we will see how much of a commitment they made, I doubt it was for more than a single season.
  4. Strange Machine must be REALLY bad. I don't think Palladium has a game system - suggestions of one at best. Though my quick look at the rules for the miniatures that came out a few years back looked good. Not good enough to buy anything but good.
  5. CB's opening reminds me a lot of the opening for The Wild Wild West TV show. Which was Western/SciFi/Spy show.
  6. The Muppets Haunted Mansion movie certainly seems to be hitting the right vibe in the trailer (and the famous locations in the attraction).
  7. Could well be but in that case they would have most likely at least gave him a call asking how much he would do the movie for. To flat out write him off without even asking is odd but not unheard of.
  8. To sum up. Whatever takes too much energy, makes obvious what you are going to do, and puts you off balance when done.
  9. Except the Matrix, unlike Star Wars, had one good movie and two sequels that were Dreck. The trailer for this one at least appears to have some promise.
  10. Lets throw in 1918, the Black Death...
  11. Even so the Federation appears to follow the western world rule that offspring are not guilty for the crimes of parents.
  12. Looking forward to it. Hopefully one of their better ones.
  13. But you can't watch that without also watching "The Grove Tube" It's like Abbot without Costello, Ernie without Bert, or Beevus without Butthead...
  14. Star Wars. No other movie has come close to shaping my interests. I hated scifi before that.
  15. Not a movie I plan on seeing but a Seventy Five Million domestic opening weekend is nothing to sneeze at. A very good indicator for future movies.
  16. Dune is a product of it's drug culture (and counter culture) time. I found it middling at best but a decent read.
  17. I give him real credit for that. If you were to describe the physical features of the nasty villain type Clarence Bodicker is NOT it. Then Kurtwood Smith pulls it off and becomes one of the classic villains of all time.
