  3. And here's the 1/72 scale scratch built VF-0S with Reactive Armor. Note, this is not the same Battroid as above, you can tell by looking at the backpack, shoulders and nose which are very different. Graham

  5. 2nd page SV-51 conversion. Graham

  7. And more pics of the Hasegawa VF-0S Battroid conversion. Graham
  8. Here's the Battroid mode conversion of the Hasegawa VF-0S. I just wished the Yamato 1/100 toy looked as good Graham
  9. Here's a larger scan of that page. Graham
  10. Well, it's still another 2 hours till I get home, but I won't be doing the scans immediately. My wife would be pretty pissed with me, if as soon as I got home I went on the computer straight away I'll be scanning and uploading after dinner and during the commercial breaks for Smallville and CSI which are both on tonight in HK. Graham
  11. The just released July 2004 issue of Dengeki Hobby magazine has a great Macross section for Macross model fans this month. Included are: - Battroid mode conversion of the Hasegawa VF-0S model kit. Battroid mode conversion of the Hasegawa SV-51 in D.D. Ivanov colors. This has to be seen to be believed. Scratch built 1/72 scale reactive armor for the VF-0S. I'll try to get scans up tonight. Graham
  12. The pics of the VF-0S are from the new July 2004 issue of Dengeki Hobby magazine. I just picked this up a few minutes ago, so I'll get a larger scan up tonight. Graham
  13. Thought PB was an OK movie, not great, but I've no regrets about renting it on DVD. Probably would have been a bit disappointed if I'd have paid money to see it at the theatre tho. As for Riddick, I'll do the same and rent it on DVD when it becomes available, unles it gets super fantastic reviews then I'll go see it at the theatre. However, with little Roy about to eject from his cockpit, I think my movie going days are gonna be on hold for quite a while. Graham
  14. We've known it is not perfect transformation for months already. This is not new news. Graham
  15. My choices for a set # 3 and set # 4 of CM's Macross figures would be: - Set # 3 1) Gamlin in Diamand Force fight suit (M7). 2) Shin in flight suit (M0) 3) Isamu in either uniform or flight suit (M+) 4) Breetai DYRL version (DYRL) 5) Shower scene Minmay (DYRL) Chase Figure) Sharon Apple AI box (M+) Set # 4 1) Captain Max in uniform (M7). 2) Mylene in bikini from M7 ep # 7 'Summer Accident' (M7) 3) Guld in either uniform or flight suit (M+) 4) Sharon Apple with short red hair (M+) 5) Nora Polyansky in flight suit (M0) Chase Figure) Guvava (M7) Graham
  16. I thought the release date was May 28th? Graham
  17. Looks like a great custom, but we really need some pictures that are not so blurry. I'd love to include this in the MW Custom Toy gallery. Graham
  18. Yes, yes... we know you're having a baby, but what about the toy??? LOL.....have I inadvertently coined a new phrase to replace "bun in the oven" Yes, it's true, my wife does have 'a little Roy in the cockpit', and he is due to eject in slightly under 2 weeks. Graham
  19. AFAIK, they are fixed pose, not articulated. Graham
  20. I also like this pic of the VF-0S. Graham
  21. The IT Media site finally has some interesting pics from the Shizuoka Hobby Show, see here. They have the first pic I've seen of the VF-0S removable nose and landing gear. I can't tell for certain, but it looks like there might be a little Roy in the cockpit. Graham
  22. M3 has an excellent opening movie and intro song and that's the best thing I have to say about it. This game was highly anticipated when it came out back in 2001, as early screenshots in the Japanese gaming magazines looked very promising. However, the actual game quickly proved to be disappointing due to weak gameplay and slugishly turning battroid and gerwak modes. I have a review of the game here. However, I'm no longer as positive about the game as I was when I wrote that review. Graham
  23. Do I smell a poll coming on? I'm definitely buying 2 or maybe 3 of the VB-6. Graham
  24. Gotta say, I'm not really a fan of the K&M series #1 figures, except for the Regult figure. I thought the paint job was pretty bad on the Hikaru VF-1J, too much grey paint, an unrealistic, overly stylised sculpt with the gunpod way out of proportion, plus the right elbow joint of mine snapped almost immediately. I thought the proportions of the transforming figures were a joke in battroid mode, although they did look pretty nice in Gerwalk mode. Lots of problems with parts falling off though, especially the arms. I do like the GBP and Tomahawk from set # 2. Graham
  25. The Starship Troopers OVA anime was released in 1988. The Powered Suit designs were by Studio Nue. The Kaiyodo Powered Suit toy which is very similar, but not identical to the OVA design was also designed by Studio Nue apparently all the way back in 1979. Graham
