I think it's obvious that when told to expand the series past 13 episodes, they either didn't have the budget for much mecha action, or given the popularity of Walkure's songs decided to focus more on the girls and their singing, rather than anything mecha related. It's a shame, as this series started with such promise, but really went downhill fast after episode 13 and I think we can all agree it's not just due to the lack of mecha action but also many other factors as well. -

What's all this talk of a movie suddenly? Has there been any official announcement? I mean I kinda assume they will be making a movie or two, but I don't recall seeing any news about it so far? Ah never mind, just read page 3 of this thread (was reading backwards from page 5......hahaha). Completely agree. -
Anybody got a payment request yet? I thought the VF-31J and VF-31A are supposed to be out the end of Aug. Also, anybody know if they come with that clear stand shown in the photos above? I hope so

Can't help, sorry I threw out all my first versions when the renewals came out. They were pretty bad toys.

No, it's a non-transforming, pre-painted model kit. The landing gear does not close. You chose to either build the kit gear down, or landing gear doors closed. It's a lot easier to make the gear look good, when they didn't need to close, even at a smaller scale.

The rear landing gear is what it is. It's Kawamori's design choice. Bandai are just doing the best they can with the design they were given.

I was actually surprisingly ok with this episode after watching it subbed last night. At least we got some mecha action with Arad's VF-31A, even if it was only a few second's worth. And I quite enjoyed the Walkure origin story. The only thing that bugged me like it did other's was Keith's recation to Roid's admission that he killed his father. I mean if someone killed my father with a knife, even if he was already dying with likely only a few hours, days or weeks to live, I'd still be pretty pissed off. -
Yeah, I'm the same. Love the designs, but the show with it's lack of good mecha action, or even ANY mecha action is making me lose interest a bit.

Looks awesome, hope we can all eventually get one.

I keep hearing P-Bandai mentioned. What is that? I've been out of the loop on Bandai models for years. The Delta kits are the first Bandai models I've bought since Alto's VF-25F kit was first released.

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, in theaters Dec. 16, 2016

I've always thought it was a bit silly calling them "Snowspeeders" as it was pretty obvious that they could be used in other environments and was even mentioned in Empire that they had to be modified to work in the cold of Hoth. They should have just been called something like Rebel Armed Speeders. -

Adam West's voice sounds too old for the role unfortunately, although Burt Ward still sounds fine. I really hope they do use the original theme music.- 22 replies

I personally doubt that Lady M will be Shammy, I've always felt that the SDFM bridge Bunnies were kinda throwaway, disposable characters of little consequence. -
Finished Stranger Things with my wife and son about a week ago. We all really enjoyed it. Current TV series I'm watching are: The Last Ship, Season 3. Dark Matter, Season 2. Killjoys, Season 2. Also for older shows, just started watching Vikings, Dexter and The Shield, as never seen them before, but thankfully Netflix finally came to Hong Kong this year, so got a lot of catching up to do.......hahaha Graham

Nah, you do need to use glue on these, otherwise parts will regularly pop off or come apart during transformation and handling. I used small dabs of superglue on pretty much most parts when building this kit.

I'm hoping it's 27 episodes, as it's already confirmed as being 9 x discs (3 eps per disc x 9 = 27 eps). But more likely it will be 26 episodes I imagine. -

Japanese cars few and far between!!!???? Well, maybe in the US, dunno haven't been there for years, but certainly not in the rest of the world. Japan is supposedly the world's largest car manufacturer, with six of the world's ten largest car manufacturers being Japanese. Can't walk down the street here without seeing loads of Toyotas Hondas, Nissan etc. Lexus or Infiniti would be a good choice for Drift.

I actually prefer the FSW Delta VF-31's as the overall shape reminds me of the VF-19F/S one of my all-time favorite VFs (but with added canards).

Haven't paid attention to whether we have seen the VF-31A's pod open in Gerwalk mode to see if the other half looks like the standard charger pod. The half of the pod that is not holding the gunpod, could potentially be something else, such as a micro-missile launcher, or a capacitor for energy conversion armour........many possibilities. In which case it could mean the VF-31A's calf bays could hold micro-missiles instead of multi-drones.
