We did, thanks! Yeah, sure. Here's the build log on IMGUR https://imgur.com/a/BOPHc I was just thinking of an alternate scheme, which lead to the thought of a specialized fleet with the singular purpose of defending Iscandar from any threat. Considering that Iscandar is a 'holy' place to the Gamillas, I went for a white scheme for the ships, with the gold band denoting the flagship and the silver for its executive command ship.

Hmm, 2017 Record, huh? I still have more undone than done, but looking back I guess I had a good year. Tamiya 1/48 F4U-1D Tamiya 1/48 Ki-46 Dinah Bandai 1/1000 Kirishima And what I call the Iscandarian Protectorate Fleet ships, also Bandai 1/1000 from SBY 2199 First is the flagship Aeber'carin and escorts. And the secondary command ship, the Galla'heiren. Actually wish I'd gotten more done this year...

That's a great display, and real nice work on the whole dio! Of course the fighter looks especially good, what with all the Howler updates and the decals. Lovely.

Yeah, all of that, except for the TV universe thing, as they are two separate universes and it doesn't matter if they contradict each other. I see the DCEU having a chance to reboot itself with the upcoming stand-alone movies, Batman, Aquaman, The Flash, and if they finally get off their butts and do MoS2! And I don't mean a 'reboot' as redoing what's already done with new actors, but learning from the mistakes made in JL and BvS, and learning from the success of WW. Oh, and I'd love to see them do Supergirl! But yeah, this is a Marvel thread, so back to it! -

Nice fixes Peng. This is a blast from the past. I remember wanting one of these so badly when I was kid. The closest I got is having my nephew's sitting in a box in the attic, and with most of it not there!

So, I have one of the Andies already, awaiting time, a clear deck on the table and the inclination, but that doesn't stop the acquiring of more kits! In this instance, the Apollo Norm is up for preorder, on HLJ and Hobby Search, among others. Cheaper on HS than HLJ. https://hlj.com/product/BANN22263 http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10511350 I'm not a big fan of these carrier versions, but at HALF THE PRICE of the regular kits, I'll bite happily at that! (Also cause I think there are no electronics...) I'm thinking I'll remove the top hat deck, and make a command and control ship, and either add some armament or equipment to the empty back deck, or just a small hangar and pad.

I don't care if it's Disney or not. I like Star Wars, and I liked TFA and liked TLJ. Simple. I have nothing against or for Disney, whether they are a juggernaut or not, or the 'flavor-of-the-week' to be beaten up on because of 'reasons.' As for diversity, I've NEVER seen this as a bad thing. Consider, the setting is in a broad universe with aliens, but all we are supposed to see are white men..? I want more women in it! I want more than just grey scale. I want that woman pilot who dies taking out the Executer to have her voice back, rather than the manly voice over! I don't want simple or easy to please. I want complication. I want diversity!

I'll be watching it again, because I did enjoy it despite some choices made that I don't agree with. It was good, and I want to experience it again at least once more on the big screen. It's also a chance to review scenes, to see them again and catch what I missed the first time. While I'll agree that a movie should be understood with one viewing, without the need to find explanations to fit disparate points together, really good movies benefit from having those varied elements that could be missed the first time, while we were experiencesing all the others.

All down to taste. I think the prequels are meh of every order, while TFA and TLJ are really carrying on the torch set alight in ANH. Well, maybe not every order... The ship designs in the prequels are a lot better then the ones post TRoTJ.

I will be seeing this again, because it is a good movie. A little slow to the start, but once it picked up speed, I was with it all the way. Overall, what I was left with, was a desire to see Episode 9 as soon as possible!!

Oh, this one, definitely!! I never liked the 'top hat' design, as it looks so ungainly and out of balance. Plus, I wouldn't call it a dedicated carrier, and thus loses out as obvious trade-off would have to be made between the battleship and carrier missions. I can see it done, as a way to separate it for some reason from the main hull, and as a way to normalize construction between the super battleships and the carrier variants, but it's just so unattractive to me. But this one... I've had thoughts of doing only a Borodino as carrier, but now I may have to make future plans for an Andromeda, just from that alone.

They've thrown in a volcano. I liked Jurassic World. It rates number 2 in the series for me, so I'll be going to watch this one. Chris Pratt is cool and Bryce Dallas Howard is just smokin'!!
