    Agreed with completely. Besides, I read somewhere that Anno was trying to appeal to a newer, larger audience this time with the remakes; in other words he was just trying to cash in on a new generation of fans that would appreciate the visual splendor and the chaotic, almost senseless battle scenes. Some things are better left alone, Eva is one of them IMO...

    Well I just checked with Steam and the game is there for $14.99, and there are 9 patches available for $10 each. If it takes $90 to make this game sub-par then...........

    Yup-watching that youtube clip back in the day when this game was released literally had me leave the store and drive back home. I don't get how they screwed this game up-if you watch the making-of skits they try to come off as if they researched to high-hell on how to make this game. Oh well...

    Yeah, but still it isn't right. What's with this heightened pacifist, anti-destruction stance anyway. I realize that Yamato in the 70's/80's or even in the present has always been a story and a lesson against the use of weapons of mass destruction, but neutering the Yamato is hardly graceful to the majesticness of the vessel...

    Yeah well if some of you think Yuki's new wave motion guns are too much, just wait till the over-dard version of her eventually comes out; which I will of course have to buy. As for the naked chick in a flight suit motif, c'mon guys-we've been spanking off to that for years. It's no surprise that Yuki is therefore hot in this version...
