    Just wrapped up Eureka 7.. I dropped this series when it first came out because the characters were annoying.. I gave it a go again since I got the blu-ray cheap and my initial observations still stand. 50 episodes was too long for this series and the amount of teen angst and drama really drags this down. While overall I would give this series a 6.5/10 it is mediocre at best, never understood the hype behind it. Also finished Chivalry of a Failed Knight another title I picked up cheaply. This probably had some good source material, but the anime did not convey it very well. It started with a fanservice scene right off the bat so you knew where this was going. It spent more time on pointless fights early on, and then totally blew the last and only fight that I was looking forward to watching in the last episode. Then explained it all away with anime magica or something. I know I am being harsher then I should be since I picked this up cheap, but it deserves the bargain bin treatment. 4/10 Next on my list is What Do You Do at the End of the World? Are You Busy? Will You Save Us? and Rosario Vampire.. WorldEnd has my interest, Rosario Vampire.. not at all. Gonna take abit of a break first though Eureka 7 wiped me out.

    well lets discuss the "gay" character then. The whole Shiro is gay thing comes right out of left field.. it had no plot merit, and his partner is killed off in what.. 5 min? I can't look at that any other way then pandering to a specific fansbase.. Why kill the partner off so quick if it was to be a thing? 2nd.. the last scene Wedding.. really? Again right out of left field... no plot merit.. closing scene and... there it is. so Fail.

    Sorry, but this series was bad beyond just the SJW inserts.. Yes this series went Woke.. but that is not my only issue with this reboot. This should have been named Paladins.. not Voltron. The robot title character literally disappears for a good part of the story more so early on. This leads to some of the most boring content of this series.. and 1 season where literally nothing worth noting happens.

    Chugging along on a rewatch of Eureka 7. Currently on ep 20 out of 50. I remember watching parts of this series back when it first came out and I dropped it. Also started back up with Index 3 again.. I think the creator of this series just wanted to toss in random English words, and needed a reason.. the sheer number of random groups with English names is silly (School, Item, Member) The plot is so far gone at this point, I don't know who is on who's side and Accelerator is the only real redeeming character and that is stretching it. Ultimately I may end up dropping this franchise, which is a shame since this was one of my favorites.

    I think this series was the breakout title of this season. Possibly one of the best of 2018. SSSS.Gridman was also pretty good, more so then I expected.

    My order just came in. Not much to comment on that hasn't been said already. Overall quality is pretty good and I am happy with this purchase.

    So I Just finished the 8th Season of Woketron Legendary lameness and good riddance. It had much promise in the first few seasons.. then they went Woke.. and then it all went to crap. I'd take Voltron 3D over this dumpster fire.

    Probably no customs.. I have my hands full with restoring other things.. let alone toys. I never went down the Yammy V2 route so probably good for display or the office at work.

    I ended up pulling the trigger on the Fokker 1S and a Super/Strike set and the DYRL Strike Hikaru 1S. I was looking at the stands but too pricey IMO. Between these and the Kitzconcepts valk coming soon I should have a plethora of KO valks.

    Index 3 is now on the back burner.. with all the holiday sales I have a large backlog of DVD/Blu rays to churn through. Sakamoto was meh.. I don't remember actually finishing it. Rail Wars.. again meh.. it should have been renamed boob wars.. if your into trains you will probably like it. Other then that it was pretty average, I watched it once and would not go out of my way to watch it again. I just wrapped up Plastic Memories... highly disappointed with this title. It started out really well and the writers just got lazy tossing out all the main plot points to write a love story about a boy and his robot... blah. Next up for me is Saekano (How to raise a boring girlfriend) I have watched the 2nd season of this already but never got around to watching the first.. so here it goes.

    I finally started watching the 3rd season of Index... Episode 5 currently.. and something is missing. After a re watch of the 1st and 2nd season, the 1st season was definitely the strongest of the 3 so far.. by the 2nd season Touma (sp?) was getting pretty wordy during his fights which got irritating. Now the 3rd season starts and the story is pretty absurd at this point.. I don't want to go into any spoilers for those that haven't seen it but the course of events seems to get more absurd as I progress. It's still too early to judge.. since I am only 5 episodes in so I am keeping my fingers crossed this starts to make sense.

    Yes you can do either lions or Voltron.. the lions look OK.. limited range of motion with the legs.. but still pretty neat. Voltron is where its at.. the range of motion with all the ball joints is really impressive. The hardest part about these is the application of stickers.. other then that pretty easy to assemble. I ended up getting 3 of them, 2 for me and 1 as a gift.. if you plan on getting them look on the JP side.. the cost of admission in the US will net you 2 from Japan.

    Well thanks to Sentai's black Friday sale, I ended up picking up more then 10 different series on the real cheap.. So starting things off.. Yusibu "I Couldn't Become a Hero So I Reluctantly Decided to Get a Job" I find this series to be a mixed bag.. Very heavy on the fan-service.. The plot kinda stumbles around and the premise is rather boring. Sub only.. (Thank god) but not something I would openly recommend unless you want your fill of Oppai. Himouto! Umaru-chan.. I don't really have anything nice to say about this title. I found the main character to be outright annoying and the running gag of this series is never really funny, let alone for 1 cour. What amuses me about this title is how much hype it garnered and continues to be popular.. I'd rather go visit the dentist. Bakuon!! I have yet to finish this series but so far so good. Out of the 3 this one actually has some relevant humor. I can see why everyone likes Rin.. 2 reasons.. just sayin. Overall I am about halfway through this title and it's managed to beat my expectations.. worth checking out. I'll come back and add more to this once I finish it. So 3 down and a boat load more to go.

    @obakesan very nice... the lego Voltron looks pretty neat, I just finished building my Mini-Pla Voltron... probably the most poseable voltron I have ever seen, and probably comes up to one of the knees on either of the above voltrons.. lol

    Violet Evergarden is not a show for everyone.. the story is not fast paced, but it does a good job conveying its message none the less. Not the greatest series ever, but not a waste of time. I need to watch Girls Last Tour.. I have a friend who loves this series and I can't seem to get into it. I am nearing the end of a rewatch of the 2nd season of Index... before I jump into the 3rd.. Touma needs to tone down the preaching in this series.. other then that it's OK. First season was better.. IMO.

    This reminds me of the artwork they used in the Robotech RPG guides originally issued by palladium.. pre RPG Tactics. And to be totally honest I really like the style of artwork used by Takani or whoever in the 80's and the vintage cheese on the old model kits. There is no argument from me that Tenjin is pretty much the Macross artwork god.. but I am not hating on this artwork.. and even more so not caring so long as the product inside is good. No Broken lasers, hands, or hip issues, or wrong leg armor... *cough* Bandai *cough*.

    Still too early to make a judgement call.. first thoughts of the main Mecha.. was a ripoff of the Nirvash from Eureka 7... but I think Kawamori did the mecha from that series as well.

    Started watching Pandora.. Last Hope on Netflix. I was holding off on this till I could see the whole thing. On Ep3 right now.. kinda meh, but still better then Mac Delta... lol

    Honestly I have always liked the Valks from Macross 2.. The plot was crap.. but the VF-2SS and the VF-2JA are still some of my favorite Valk variants. So any chance we will get the VF-2JA?
