  1. Hummm, guess I gotta clear some unfinished models I'm storing off that DVD shelf...
  2. Cuz that's her flight suit. Remember, M7 follows the SDF chronology. Not to mention Millia doesn't look quite as good in a DYRL? flight suit.
  3. Can't recall. Which one? There are lots of missile launchers on Macross. Some can fire nukes, others are too small. It depends on which missile launcher of the several dozen you are referring to.
  4. I need this posted in the newbie thread....
  5. Considering how much of a nut he was, choosing a clone over his own son, it's definitely possible.
  6. And the fact that Hikaru was backing away from the missiles as they exploded. If Hikaru stayed at that spot, he would have been dead.
  7. To record, use one of these: http://all-streaming-media.com/record-audi...inamp-radio.htm That's what Internet radio is..... I suggest you guys using Windows to download Winamp to listen. http://www.winamp.com Then click on anyone of the links for cable/dsl (for you broadband ppl) and listen in. Linux users can use XMMS. Mac users can use Audion or iTunes (or as ewilen uses, Real One). http://www.xmms.org/ http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/ http://www.panic.com/audion/
  8. No offense, but you could of looked at the MW homepage... No offense, but you do know that no one looks at any other part of the site except the forums right? That's why we repeat ourselves n-times a month.
  9. So...their weapons pods eh? Humm....I prefer the Gunbarrel Dagger's take on the weapons pods. http://www.mahq.net/mecha/gundam/seed-msv/...a1+aqme-x04.htm From the rest of the pics on Gunota's site, it looks like Shin was at Orb when the Earth forces attack it... interesting.
  10. Unfortunately, the license would go to whomever offered the best bid to Big West. Bandai Japan has video distribution rights in Japan, however that doesn't translate to the US distribution. Bandai Entertainment (USA) can enter into the running for M0, however, it is Big West's call.
  11. Japanese DVDs are always pricey. That why people buy the HK boots. And don't tell me you can't even afford $10-15 for a HK boot. Heck, sellers on E-bay have all 4 eps/HK boots for $20. That is not pricey.
  12. My $0.02. So this is what's been going on with the Marvel universe.... Sorry, but I stop reading almost 10 years ago. Doesn't Wolverine have his own comic? *checks Marvel website*..... Jeez, they restarted it? When did they do that? Now they're making him an Avenger? Jeez, back then, Wolverine (and related stories) were in every other issue of X-Men. Now they're making him an Avenger...talk about milking the cow even more. I thought they over-used Wolverine back then, but this is quite ridiculous.
  13. Ummm...you do realize that Impulse doesn't really transform. It just combines with modular parts just like the original RX-78 Gundam.
  14. That's quite a bit of assumptions there. You did forget something which you even quoted. The Enemy Valkyrie (EVA) incorporates power suit technology. It did wonders to the YF-21/VF-22 and they only used one system. In fact, a lot of things could possibly be explained about why it's capabilities are better than the VF-19/VF-22. Considering in most instances where we've seen the Pheyos, it's been blown out of the sky, I doubt the UN has had an oppurtunity to even figure out how much Zentradi technology went into that thing.
  15. Yeah, I don't like their transformed modes either. Chaos and Gaia look good in their other mode, but Chaos looks like a VF in GERWALK. Abyss...well, it's a simple transformation/design, so there's not much you can get out of that. edit: I meant Savior and Gaia look good. Chaos and Abyss look horrible.
  16. Actually, vol. 4 did fairly well. IIRC, it's sales/rentals did bring it to the top 10 for about 2 weeks....Unfortunately, I don't remember Yukikaze's sales for it's recent volume. Previous volumes have faired worst unfortunately. Sales did start low then as more volumes were released, its initial sales climbed up the charts*. Perhaps volume 5 will do well since it is the last episode in the series. After that...well, we're gonna have to wait for Sousei no Aquerion to finish. I haven't heard of the final episode count of the series but most of what I have heard is it will be 26-episodes (Premeires in October). If it is 26-episodes, then it will run to spring. After that is the DVD releases, so we're looking at early Summer 2005 for signs of Kawamori's next project. But this is assuming Aquerion is only 26 episodes. It may run longer, it may run shorter. *(This is based on the Oricon charts)
  17. Don't know about Strike Rouge w/ IWSP...Lightning Striker (Rouge)...maybe...but that's if they use Strike Rouge. I would expect more Daggers (Buster Dagger, GAT-01A1 Dagger, Duel Dagger, etc), Deep Forbidden, M1-A1 Astrays or M2 Astrays. As for ZAFT MS, I expect to see more GINN varieties. Maybe some of the suits for the Astray mini-episodes will show.
  18. The VF-19A also used hinged weapon bay doors and it had fins. However, since the bay doors swing out farther, they would not hit. Just so you don't forget the VF-19A. It could be a cost issue. The VF-19A/F/S (and the Kai if you must) were designed to carry mission-variable ordanance. The missile launcher system is the same for the F/S/Kai versions (the A uses a different system to account for the different leg/engine block design but the purpose is the same). The VF-19P, being more of a law enforcement-type, does not need such a weapons package. In fact, since Zola's patrol/planetary police, rarely use live ammo, so the need for a variable weapons package is unnecessary. A standard micro-missile launcher system is probably more than enough for law-enforcement. If the VF-19P doesn't need military-grade systems, then Shinsei Industries can cut their costs and sell a downgraded VF-19. Yeah, that sounds about right.
  19. Well...you could do the whaleblood-part of the VF-19P....but that would require red paint...or ketchup.
  20. Nope. Conceptually, it could have lead to many other things though.
  21. Macross. http://www.anime.net/macross/production/au...irst/index.html All of your answers are there--> http://www.anime.net/macross/
  22. Not really. The "F" is more of a cannon fodder. The "J-type" looks consolidated into the "S-type". The "A" variant is closer to "1st production model". Graham's little easy on the VF-19 series is a pretty logical answer to the variants. (Hey, it's still there) I would also agree with Graham concerning the 19's rollout. They can't. F/A-22s cost too much to justify replacing all at once. Eventually, yes the F-15 will be completely replaced by the F/A-22, but that can't happen considering the costs (not to mention if you find a fatal flaw in one, that flaw may be in others leading to some serious downtime for the entire fleet of F/A-22s). The same could be applied to the VF-19's situation. They can produce a limited number but there is no way they can replace the entire line of VF-11s in 1 shot. http://www.anime.net/macross/mecha/zentrad...vice/index.html The Pheyos (or Enemy/EVA) Valkyrie is not a UN fighter. It was made with stolen parts but it is not a UN fighter.
  23. Actually, Minerva kinda reminds me of PLANT (not ZAFT) ship. The other one looks like Re H.O.M.E. and a Izumo-class clumped together.
  24. I answered this question a few pages back. http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?...rsupials&st=900
