I've been out of the fandom mostly for the past twenty years, but an old friend of mine invited me to come along to Otakon this year and I decided to check it out. I am at my parents' house in Illinois and dug up a Macross Plus art book that Shinichiro Watanabe and Yoko Kanno signed for me at Otakon 1999 and figured might as well ask Shoji Kawamori to sign it. Don't think I'm going to dive back into the fandom; being a Macross super fan took up so much time, energy, and money 😀, but for one weekend I'm going to embrace my fandom fully.
