Mommar Posted June 12 Author Posted June 12 I forgot I actually pre-ordered a few of the Heat Boys TMNT figures from The Chosen Prime. They sure drag their feet shipping... Quote
Scyla Posted June 27 Posted June 27 Have there been an announcement for the missing two Robot Masters from Mega Man 1? Jada did auch a good job with announcing and releasing the SF2 cast so I hope we get the rest of the Robot Masters too. May favorite were always the ones from Mega Man 4, especially Skull and Pharao Man. Hopefully we will get there someday. Quote
sh9000 Posted June 27 Posted June 27 I need Jada Toys to release full Street Fighter II diorama background boards. Quote

Negotiator Posted July 25 Posted July 25 really really want to see how their alpha 3 figs compare to storm arena's. Quote
Mommar Posted August 13 Author Posted August 13 Just got my first Storm Arena Ken figure in. Despite the gushing reviews these figures are absolutely not Jada killers. Not nearly as advanced or impressive as people are declaring. Quote

Negotiator Posted August 15 Posted August 15 I'm only getting storm arena Ken and Ryu because I like their younger looks too, but cancelled Arena's Sagat. Sticking with Jada mostly. I'll buy whoever makes the better females especially the faces. I want more of an anime head. Right now, not liking either company's prototype heads for alpha chun li. Quote

sh9000 Posted August 17 Posted August 17 It's alright. The cheaper price is worth it for me. I haven't shipped my Roller's Stash anyway. Quote
Tking22 Posted October 9 Posted October 9 Akuma looks good, I'm not in for the whole line, I'm just grabbing a character here and there, and Akuma is looking like one I need, he'll look good paired with a Ken and Ryu. Quote
Tking22 Posted Saturday at 05:08 AM Posted Saturday at 05:08 AM Hot damn, that's a pretty perfect E Honda, Jada is absolutely murdering with this line. Out of all the companies that have put out Street Fighter figures, this has gotta be my favorite line, good sculpts, accessories, price is right, and the scale is right about where I'd want it for a line getting this large and diverse. Scyla Posted Sunday at 09:01 AM Posted Sunday at 09:01 AM I’m in a bit of a pickle. I want to complete my Super Street Fighter 2: The new Challengers roster. Bandai seems to have no plans to finish their line (even if they release a Guile out of nowhere last year) and I like the style of the Storm Arena ones better than the Jada ones. However, I don’t know if they are planning to release a T Hawk, Deejay, Fei Long, Dhalsim or E. Honda in the line (which are the ones I’m missing, Storm showed prototypes for Zangief and Balrog). Jada has announced or released all of these so I wonder if I should get them now and if Storm releases their version (and I like the hand feel of the Storm Arena ones) try to sell them again. I hate the Jada Fei Long sculpt and I despise the gummy hand feel of Marvel Legends-style figures so I don’t know if I would like the Jada toys. I have the Storm Arena Charly Nash and Dan on preorder but it will take a while until they are released. Maybe I should just buy the Jada Deejay and Dhalsim to see how I feel about them. Quote

If you're targeting SSF2 Storm isn't going to cut it, those are Alpha designs. Charley and Dan aren't even from SSF2 either. Quote

I know but I like the look of the Storm ones better (and I hope they feel better in hand as Marvel Legends). My Street Fighter toys are anyhow a hodgepodge of styles since Bandai never had a uniform look to their release. That said SSF2 was the last Street Fighter game I played (as a child) till SF4 and I want a good representation of all the characters in my collection. Quote

Ryu and Ken don't look like SSF2 but they are better plastic by a little. Looks like Storm just showed off Zangief and his look is hardly changed, Balrog too possibly. Cammy and Chun-Li won't work, the Alpha designs are wildly different. The rest are all Jada figures however, the plastic is better than ML but not quite Storm. I don't understand your problem with Fei Long either. On the other hand all of the con exclusive Ken's are rife with paint chipping, and I'll add my regular Storm Ken has that problem (Ryu too) as well as sloppy/inconsistent paintwork on thr Gi. Kens pants and top are different shades of red. Edited 56 minutes ago by Mommar Quote
sh9000 Posted 41 minutes ago Posted 41 minutes ago Can't believe Jada is almost complete with SF2. Damn impressive. Quote
