frightzone_4_you Posted August 31, 2016 Posted August 31, 2016 Hi Guys, All My Veritech Fighters Have A Mold Line In The Center Of The Canopy. Any Good Ideas On How To Remove That Line Without Scratching The Canopy?
Darth Mingus Posted August 31, 2016 Posted August 31, 2016 Here is a Youtube tutorial: Basically, you need to sand it with progressively finer grit sandpaper and then polish it so that it is clear again.
Vi-RS Posted August 31, 2016 Posted August 31, 2016 I think you won't have the issue if you bought the real Valkyrie kit by Hasegawa.

slide Posted August 31, 2016 Posted August 31, 2016 (edited) I think you won't have the issue if you bought the real Valkyrie kit by Hasegawa. All the Hase valks have this issue because of the 'accurately' represented bubble canopy. most aircraft models that accurately represent such canopies and were released around the time the VF-1's were have this issue... slide-molding wasn't really a thing then. certain VF's do not have these seam-lines because their canopy is a completely different cross-section; SV-51 for example. I know that very well, but nerver mind if you didn't get that.
