Of course Netflix will milk Stranger Things, have the animated series coming up. I'll miss out on it as I'm cancelling my Netflix subscription. I'll probably will re-up when Last Samurai Standing returns, great series!!

Milk is exactly the correct term for that show.  Maybe I'm a purist but if it is not a live action show I consider it nothing more than a money grab.

(For books I expect more books, for movies more movies, TV, etc...)

Don’t forget odd stage plays that nobody cares about that will fill in the gaps

I purposely ignored that, which I'm sure the show writers will do too when push comes to shove.

Pretty sure they will ignore whatever they feel like. Similar to how Star Wars picks and chooses from odd media

Not interested in a cartoon of it. They gave me live-action, so keep giving me live-action.

I might consider it if it wasn’t just another cg mess

@Thom here's something from the IMDB trivia section for you:

Spoiler

In Chapter One: The Hellfire Club (2022), Dr. Brenner's crossword puzzle included the problems 11.) "Wife of Thor" and 54.) "Wife of Shiva" as fairly obvious references to 011 ( Millie Bobby Brown ) and 008 ( Linnea Berthelsen ), with "SIF" and "KALIS" for answers. These two goddesses both hold a place in Dungeons & Dragons lore, having been included in 1980's 'Deities and Demigods' handbook. Kali resides upon the 643rd layer of the Abyss, as per 2006's 'Fiendish Codex I: Hordes of the Abyss', while Sif resides upon the plane of Asgard/Ysgard. This information mirrors the fates of 008 and 011 at the end of Stranger Things (2016), with Kali now somewhere between Earth and "The Abyss" and Mike's vision of El placing her at Háifoss Falls in Iceland.

IMO there's no reason not to praise this show – who would have thought that you could put basically "The Breakfast Club" and "John Carpenter's The Thing" in a blender and create not only a tentpole of streaming entertainment for most ages, but also a monument to nerd culture.

My wife and her co-workers were on the hype train for weeks, and did we enjoy the ride. Was the final season perfect - maybe not, but entertaining & satisfying all the way. The feeling after the final episode brought me right back to a summer in my younger days when I had just finished another epic Stephen King novel, the mind still reeling from the experience, and reality some distance away.

Also, let's go full circle and have Jamie Campbell Bower star in a Clockwork Orange remake, and Joe Keery as Snake Plissken.

Honestly, there’s nothing boy one actor out there that I think could replace Kurt Russell and that’s Wyat Russell. He doesn’t necessarily always get great roles, but I think he has the looks and could pull it off. I wouldn’t mind him playing Snake’s son in a wild post apocalyptic movie since they pretty much reset the world at the end of the last movie
