CF18 Posted August 28, 2010 Posted August 28, 2010 Just wondering, is US$65 an okay price for this figure? Because that's how much my local hobby shop is selling it (as opposed to US$103 for the Fire Valk and US$80 for the VF-1J). That is a very good price - the current best price from Japan is about US$60 before shipping at Amiami with 25% off. Yen has been high recently.
jediwalker Posted August 28, 2010 Posted August 28, 2010 Yeah, I have the same problem with my 19S with the angle of the legs in fighter mode and the should pad issue. My bigger problem is I broke off the center head lazer already. I super glued it back on but it easily breaks off again due to it always getting hit by the plastic lip of the upper "spine" when the torso is transformed. Chris i just got my VF-19S... and i broke the centre head laser as well i was just pushing it a little to see if it was moveable and.. *SNAP* it broke. what the hell, it was soft like a piece of candy! why couldn't they make it removable like the Fire valkyrie. sigh, anyone else had this problem besides Chris and myself?
Graham Posted August 29, 2010 Posted August 29, 2010 The middle head laser is still okay on mine, but then, I haven't tried pushing it. I hope you guys were able to glue yours back on OK. Graham
jediwalker Posted August 30, 2010 Posted August 30, 2010 Thanks Chris, Graham... I put one drop of superglue yesterday and this morning i checked, it looks solid enough. i think the real test is when transforming it! The head seems to be in a rather tight-fitting position. the chin seems like it would hit the body when turning it from side to side. scary!
jediwalker Posted August 31, 2010 Posted August 31, 2010 Ok, it seems to hold still after superglue.. here are some pics to share:
badboy00z Posted August 31, 2010 Posted August 31, 2010 Can the LERX go up any higher to cover up the yellow in fighter mode?
shariban Posted September 10, 2010 Posted September 10, 2010 http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10114324 Pretty good deal on Hobbysearch

lechuck Posted September 10, 2010 Author Posted September 10, 2010 Thanks for the heads up. I was toying with getting it from AmiAmi, glad I was undecided. 3500 Yen is a great price for the VF-19S.
CF18 Posted October 16, 2010 Posted October 16, 2010 Another good deal from AmiAmi - 3600 yen and in stock. http://www.amiami.jp/shop/?set=english&vgForm=ProductInfo&sku=TOY-RBT-1144&template=default/product/e_display.html
ruskiiVFaussie Posted October 16, 2010 Posted October 16, 2010 That is a crazy markdown, but i can't spend monies on this, when this bad ass 1/60 Fire Valk is coming soon...
hutch Posted October 16, 2010 Posted October 16, 2010 That is a crazy markdown, but i can't spend monies on this, when this bad ass 1/60 Fire Valk is coming soon... "Soon" might be relative, considering we haven't even seen anything beyond a resin prototype yet. I guess my bet would be middle of next year for the Kai and Dec 11 for anything resembling a Blazer?
ruskiiVFaussie Posted October 17, 2010 Posted October 17, 2010 It's coming, that's good enough isn't it. Like most of us have money for it now anyways. *rolleyes*
Misa Hayase's pet peeve Posted November 6, 2010 Posted November 6, 2010 To Graham and the other guys who have bought the Hi-Metal VF-19S: Are the feet and ankles poseable like in the Hi-Metal VF-1J? They look stiff on my Blazer, but it seems that a metal ball joint connects the ankle to the feet, or maybe I could be wrong. I don't want to force the motion on the ankles, because it seems so tight. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!
