i was considering picking up the Lego UCS millenium falcon, but its $500 and i don't think i'd get it before christmas.

Finally found deep magenta wrapping paper, so here's my Nora all ready for Xmas: (I wanted to use dull gold ribbon for striping, but could only find bright "chrome" gold--was hard enough to find a dull bow)

You really have some colour co-ordination issues there David. Attention to detail is great.

If it were mine I'd have just left in the brown box it came in.

Looks good! The wifey used some multi santa print paper, as she thought it was more cute. :P

I'll take pics after. She did wrap it with some red twine and umm, i think she did a bow... lol she hid it from me.

For Christmas this year I'm buying myself presents instead of getting ones from family.

I just got confirmation that my 25th Anniversary VF-1S that I preordered has been shipped!

Are they only just out or something? I'd love to do something like that up... my last lego i did up was my AT-ST a fair few months ago, and before that way way back when i was a little bloke. Lego is still cool.
