Mechamaniac
Yeah, I noticed this last week, and was going to bring it up, but I figured surely everyone had seen it before. Looks like Yamato has gone Global!.
Graham
Old, old news. They changed the name of Toycom to Yamato USA like 1-2 years ago IIRC. Graham

Mechamaniac
at least they have BGC & Votoms but why no MZ23? I don't know since I can't read Kanji, but do they list Megazone 23 on the Japanese side of their site?. And, this is what I meant by Yamato going global. http://www.yamato-toys.com Their site used to be yamato-toys.co.jp, which now has a redirect to the new Yamato-Toys.Com. I was googling and I got sent to that site for some other toys. I was hoping for info on the 1/48s, and I was like what tha?!
Pat Payne
Why would "Yamato Far East" include Europe?
Nightbat
Why would "Yamato Far East" include Europe? 'Cause you 'mericans and brits are weird
Hurin
I vaguely remembered the Toycom switch to Yamato USA. But I had a reminder when I was in a comic book store for the first time in about a year on Sunday. . . and I saw this incredible sculpted batman statue/figure. It was definitey an American toy. . . but it had "Yamato" on the back. H
EXO
Yeah, they're the ones that released those crappy Appleseed toys... Why Appleseed? I'm bound never to get a perfect Appleseed product!

Guppy
seeing that this is the 'slow' topic I'll ask my slow question. Why is the US release of yamato's scopedog going to be so much cheaper? Is it simply a greater production number?
Opus
seeing that this is the 'slow' topic I'll ask my slow question. Why is the US release of yamato's scopedog going to be so much cheaper? Is it simply a greater production number? I think it's simply that Japanese fans will pay more so they charge more.
