    Well from what we've seen much like the Nome sisters he can sense hostile intentions. What Ernest did was protect Aether and Barrette City. I think it is more accurate to call it emphatic ability. We've seen low level telepathy before in Macross 7 and Macross Dynamite 7. Mylene with Gubaba and Zolans with Catsnakes. Ranka had an emphatic-telepathic connection with the Vajra in Frontier.

    Um no most Windermereans have a level of precog ability with their Runes but the royal family being from successive generations of Wind Singers has a stronger Space-Time Resonance ability. This is similar to Sara Nome and Mao Nome, after a blood transfusion from the Bird Human, being able to detect hostile intentions. The constant references to Wind by Windermereans is like the Mayan islander people's equivalent of Kadun. The royal family motto "In the name of the King" has the word Mayan.in it. Terran's Space-Time Resonance ability aka Fold Receptor Factor was nerfed by the Protoculture with only a few bloodlines having access to it. Basara didn't have the precog ability but he was a powerful Fold Receptor enough to be called Anima Spiritia. Anima Spiritia was a group of Protoculture that managed to seal the Protodevlin to stasis. The Sigur Valen's Sound Wave System may be similar to the Sound Buster Cannon modifications on Battle 7's Macross cannon. The modification were based on data sent by the Rax ruin AI messenger to the Macross 7 fleet before it was destroyed by Gavil.

    Macross 7 The Galaxy is Calling Me. A seed that Pedro had which was dormant for thousands of years bloomed after being exposed to Basara and Emilia. In the prologue Chiba was testing Basara's effect on giant Sunflowers till Emilia's Song Energy reached the fleet light years away making the Sunflowers move. Which motivated Basara to find the person it came from, borrowing Chiba's Sound Energy detecting equipment.

    Well there is that group in Macross Extra set in 2062 that is studying Var using kaiju sized mega fauna. The guy in charge has a dead Vajra. I am assuming it isn't in the Brisingr cluster as it is set on a newly settled planet. Also in the episode prologue the Var'd guy who blew up the bus was on a City or Island class. Kaname said the Wind Singer may be a galactic threat. According to Macross Frontier where a history teacher said there are 17 known Protoculture settled worlds. That is not including the Vajra homeworld.

    Basara and Emilia can do the same as seen with plants. What they don't have is the precog ability the Nomes and Windermereans have.

    In the TV series Ozma acknowledge that reinforcements may be too late due to fold faults delaying the report to Earth and the NUN parliament deliberating on a response. Wings of Goodbye on the other hand is different. A Combine SMS-NUNS reinforcement fleet came on time. Going by the Light Novel adaptation this was made up of nearby fleets as Battle 7 with Max and Milia on VFs participated in battle. Going by the Black Wing manga Aerial Knight prequel the Brisingr Cluster planets like Windermere have Mutual Defense Treaty with each other. NUNS called Aerial Knight assistance to deal with a Zentradi fleet. Since the manga is set in 2058 there may be a problem with Lost Zentradi in NUN territories. Sephira was attacked by Lost Zentradi in 2058 or 2059 going by Macross 30. Earth was almost invaded by Anti-Earth and Lost Zentradi with a recovered mobile fortress in 2047. Given the distance, Lost Zentradi situation, and NUN parliament politics Federal NUNS hands are likely tied.

Also the reason why Protodevlin were after Macross 7 fleet as Terrans can be convenient rechargeable batteries. However Heinz is emitting Negative Song Energy that may be detrimental to his health. Negative Song Energy being weaker it is possible to overpower it without Fold Amps as shown by Mikumo and Freyja. Positive Song Energy provided the Protodevlin a perpetual power source once they learned how to sing on their own. Fold Wave Systems like in the YF-29, similar system in the YF-30 and the VF-31 Siegfried Fold Wave System get boosts on performance due to resonance between pilot, machine and singer. Similar to Evil Series Super Dimensional Organs work. The Windermere royal bloodline it seems is similar to the Nome bloodline. Even the precognitive abilities.     Fold Wave System effect of power systems though is similar to Super Dimension Organs of Protodevlin. We've seen the Fold Wave System visual effect on Ai-Kun in the Frontier TV series.

    King of the Protoculture, Throne of the galaxy. It seems Gramia was mad Macross Galaxy tried to do it with a hivemind on all of them so he is out to do it himself. The NUN never claimed as such which is why it was decided it would decentralize. There are bigger fish out there and they recognize that. Zentrad fleets, Protodevlin, Vajra. The Bird Human when fully awakened took stock of the situation and decided Earth Humans were a danger to the universe. This was with a depressed Sara Nome. Heinz is in a dark place with his emotions that may doom his people if he isn't saved.

    In the movies I think it more like Galaxy being treated as a rogue state due to its human rights record, assassinating dissidents for example, and outright espionage on other NUN members.

    We actually saw Macross Galaxy Mainland safe and sound hiding itself. In the TV series it was a setup as Macross Frontier being a Bio Plant fleet makes it a perfect breeding ground for Vajra. Frontier fleet was just guinea pigs to them. The whole point of sending Sheryl there was to attract the Vajra. They found a replacement in Ranka instead. In the movies it is the opposite. Galaxy fleet destroyed a Vajra nest. Vajra destroyed the fleet. Battle Galaxy is MIA.

    By episode 9 Kaname gives an exposition that combining Windermerean apples and Ruin waters it creates Seidznole. This chemical causes explosive growth of Fold Bacteria in a person thus leading to Var syndrome. Closest thing we saw of this before Macross Delta was with that rabid Hydra cat at Island 3 in Macross Frontier.

    Maybe but I'm drawing a parallel between ruin spring water with the Oasis water on Ouroboros which served as a cure for V-type Fold Bacteria. Going by the end of Frontier with Brera landing near a Protoculture thingy like the stones on Mayan island the Protoculture had face to face contact with the Vajra. People would be inevitably infected. These ruins could serve as sources of water making Fold Bacteria not lethal. The Protoculture may have learned this from Zola where Galactic Whales graveyard hot spring water is a cure all. Galactic Whales is another fold capable species with bacteria in their bodies. Bacteria on Zola is deadly to those not immune if their wounds are not disinfected quickly.

    Not to mention by her grandmother's standards asking for rematch is much like asking for a date. It's funny that Freyja was having a strange look when Hayate said to Mirage she has him just as he said he'll protect Freyja. On the other front he gave Mirage a hope spot then took it away mentioning Arad and Chuck. It feels like a friend zone. Freyja knows the feelings Mirage is having as she just felt it before. They are both professional but there is an undeclared rivalry between the two now. Hayate doesn't have a clue about it.
