    Though Macross Musiculture seems to imply military-industrial complex is important for a healthy fleet economy. Macross 29 went into a recession due to its pacifist stance. Besides that is tourism and media entertainment are big money earners too. Can you imagine the patents,trademarks, and copyrights?     Yeah from what Arad said Wright was too kind for his own good. There is a possibility Roid and Keith did it. It could be the reason Robert Kino doesn't like Wright Immelman is because he couldn't shoot a kid. Not only did it destroy the NUNS base but wiped out an entire city.     According to official website info the VF-31 Siegfried are in house customs of Kaos Works, hence the Fold Wave System with big pieces of Fold Quartz. The VF-31 Kairos, VF-31A and VF-31B, don't have that it seems. The Kairos is produced by Surya Aerospace a joint venture of LAI, Shinsei Industries and a third company whose name escapes me. The YF-29B Percival it seems was produced by Shinsei Industries. Thus the irony of the situation. General Galaxy now has a hold on the mainline craft with the VF-171, if your government is cheap.     On that note the Laramis star system where Messer is supposed to transfer to is where planet Sephira is. It appeared in Macross VF-X2 and in flashback in Macross 30. Sephira has a branch of SMS as well. So it is likely in some systems SMS and Kaos is contracted to the same government. Machine translations are a bit wonky.     Alternate theory it's Macross Galaxy. Manfred Brando does have a relationship with Macross Galaxy. Or it could be just an Anti-UN group affiliated with Black Rainbow as Timothy Dadalton used the Sound Jamming System with his Feious. Macross Delta Japanese wikpedia mentions that Megaroad 4 ran afoul of a Fold Fault which lead them to accidentally discovering Windermere 4. It could be the MDE made regional Fold Fault around Windermere worse.

    Reading the Macross F Japanese wikipedia page it seems to suggest Fold Ore is also called Fold Coal. As the name suggest Fold Ore are mined. We see this with Vajra harvesting asteroids near dead stars in Frontier. Fold Coal has impurities on it. Where as Fold Carbon can be produced by human technology to low purity quartz. Which reminds me in Macross Plus the Planet Banipal has coal mines. If the Brisingr globular cluster is rich in Fold Ore/Coal I can see why mining companies would want it taken back from Windermere. Like Rudanjal Rom Mayan which means In the name of the king. Could be like the Mayan tribe worshiping the "Protokulcha" Windermereans have some programmed genetic memory going on.     In VF-X2 at least they were still using VF-11Bs. VF-19As were with named pilots. That was in 2050 to 2051. We know the VF-171 first took flight in 2046. As seen with Ozma the 117th Research Fleet had the VF-171 as a mainstay in 2048. Macross 7 was using the VF-11C variant so there may be some internal differences like the VF-19A does to the VF-19E. Also Macross 13 or Battle 13 had massed produced X-9 Ghosts or AIF-9B as fodder.

    If NUNS is going to raid Windermere they'd have to bust out the Fold Quartz equipped drives and Sound Jamming Systems as the region is covered in Fold Faults. Megaroad 4 accidentally found Windermere because they got blocked by Fold Fault there. This is my theory as well. Perhaps Keith had a Guld memory suppression.

    YF-24 derivatives all have ISC. Those ISC need Fold Quartz. Fold Quartz is heavily regulated as it is a vital component of Dimension Eaters. Dimension Eaters are heavily restricted and the NUN is wary of proliferation to terrorists. NUNS branches get detuned versions of VF or monkey models that they'll have to upgrade themselves. VF-19s and VF-22s in NUNS are reserved for elite squadrons like Macross 7's Diamond Force and Emerald Force and Frontier's Round Table, and special forces as well such as VF-X squadrons. However over the years civilians like Racers and criminal elements such as terrorist and pirates have had access to those units. PMCs as well.

    Roid may be planning in kidnapping Mikumo as a replacement so Heinz will live. Since he is a Protoculture fan which Mikumo might be he'll want her legitimize Windermere as the true heir of the Protoculture. If Mikumo gets her memory back her answer may not be to his liking.

    He has interest in both Freyja and Mikumo due to their effect on the ruins. In this episode he is watching footage of Freyja and Mikumo during the last battle. Then he focuses on Mikumo. Which could mean he figured out who Mikumo is. As all hints point she has been on Windermere before.

    Well with SDFNs we know it has two possible fate after completing a mission. The SDFN-04 Global was assigned to a research fleet. The SDFN-08 Vrlitwhai and another SDFN in Macross Extra got stay on an emigrated planet. We know Eden 3 and Sephira in VF-X2 were settled by New Macross fleets but we haven't seen their City class or Battle class. As for Barette City. I'm thinking it didn't come with a Battle class. The docking port looks like the size of an Uruga. The island when it first arrived on Ragna with Uruga escorts. Can't make out the lead vessel.
