Cool....I may follow-up on that. I have a friend who has done a little, but I dont think he has a centerfuge...and thus I am not sure how he gets around the problems.

sorry...been wrapped up in other projects..I dont multi-task very well...but the poor beasts dread eyes to stare at me even now as I type! (maybe a couple weeks...I have to finish up some casting work, and my Glaug Pod model.... Then it's onto the nose of the VF11.

Anyone out there proficient with casting white metal parts (as featured in all my favorite Valk kits? ) If anyone has any tips, advice, experience, and talant they could share with me I would greatly appreciate it. Much obliged!

Well...dont I feel the fooll....guess I should have better checked the line art...there are four engines...my bad. AliSama's is a CG "dress up" of Rob's picture...that is correct (or so I remember.) I dont have the weight of the kit, but I can weigh it. Currently, I have it sanded, and primed...so it should be close to acutual weight. Pictures coming...maybe this weekend.

1D cockpit is nice...the Legioss is gorgeous. Unfoirtunatly $500 isn't that off considering the number of pieces and size...and costs of people to do it...Consider the BlackAces Strike costs which is A) a kit with less pieces (about 1/2) and B) a kit that Noel didnt have to scuplt His price was fair...and considering those points you realize why the darn Legioss cost so much. Still Capn is right...and someday there will be enough of us who will buy it to warrent the project....someday. Now...if I could just win the damn lottery!!!

Actually, I think that is what he is going to do. The more I run this through translators the more it sounds like he will ship the kits minus the white metal parts, decals, and instructions and send those later. I'm waiting on Monkeys' translation, but his quick review seemed to match up with that. I want the complete kit...but give the option of nothing, or scratch building some landing gear and a canopy I'd say get me the damn kit!

There seems to be some comment about the metal parts and canopies needing to be finished...but it sounds like he may be able to come through with the Dragons...wouldn't that be cool! I have the number for NewType at home Carl...but I talked to them about a year ago and all they had stock of was the decals. Valkyrie (Ken) did a nice recast, and MonkeyNugget did a nice recast of the unjoined kit You might try PM'ing either of them. Hobbyfan had them in stock for a while as well...

man...I need to build mine sometime soon! Love that bird.

and the 1/60 Monster (coming) hmm...not bad...can check off everything but 3 ...VF19 first...and the two 1/48 reissues.
