Ernst mentions above that the models are for Flight Simulator 2002 (FS8). FS9 was the '04 version. Ernst's models look great! Thanks for posting them here!

N2O has been around in automotive circles for quite a lot longer than 11 years... And ANYTHING is better than the utter lameness that is Fast & Furious. -
has anyone ever made a REAL transformers skyfire toy?

Last time I took up your challenge on that one, I ended up with a broken toy Pass.

If I had my own country, I'd require a competition license to be held in order to use the two left lanes on my freeways. In addition to what David states above. -
The situation here in the US is really not as dire as our media would have it seem. As Jenius mentioned many pages back, we are simply in a correctional phase after many years of unwise financial practice and billowing bubbles. Those businesses and people who have always worked and lived within their means are really not having widespread problems. This is not to diminish the issues of people who really are having problems. I believe that the chief factor at fault is the ridiculous notion of perpetual sustained "growth" as some sort of inalienable capatalistic right [read: unchecked greed], which has lead to some extremely predatory business practices becoming mainstream. What we are experiencing is simply economic Darwinism. The silver lining is that hopefully, the current economic situation will be a wake up call, and we will not gladly march down that path again. Just my opinion....

This is where I buy my acrylic... But I typically buy 4' x 8' sheets, and these guys are local to me: http://www.hillcorplastics.com/index.html I don't know if they will accomodate small orders, but it is probably worth asking them.

I think that that one is from the inside of Britai's Nuptiet Vergnitz during the Meltran infiltration in DYRL.... Or was it the klaxxon that sounded just before the SDF-1 was attacked while on station at the PC city?

The Bartley is very hard to reproduce. There's probably more anime magic gone into it than any other in the series.... The lack of shoulder armor is probably the biggest bugaboo. Beagle's rendition seems OK, but I would like to see what they come up with in terms of refinements.

Dude. I did not expect the very timely response. Whoaaa.

<nt> sorry -
I'd vote the latter. I would like to see a MH Houquet, or a Beagle, for that matter. The Beagle Blowsperior and Bartley's will be most welcome.

If you do multiple passes with the sharpie, letting the ink dry between passes, you'll get a pretty convincing black.

Too cool, hehe. I will seriously try to come up with some recommendations for sounds. I think that some of the more general Bridge Bunny announcements may work out well - lots of them are in wonderful engrish even in the original soundtrack.

Really nice work. I had been looking for a new wallpaper....

My main gig is manufacture and sale of specialty automotive equipment (ie; replacement, racing & performance parts), but I also do private-label development and mfg, and other non-automotive development and mfg. Oddly enough, my business is thriving. I chalk this up to a couple of factors: One the one hand, I'm extremely specialized in some areas - I've got a locked-in customer base, solid demand, a relatively low production and high-profit product line, and factually, you cannot get what I produce anywhere else. Yay for captive markets. On the other hand, I've got enough diversification in my business that should one area of the business suffer, other product areas and projects tend to make up for it. Resources + flexibility = open options. Even though the automotive market [in general] currently sucks, I think that in the short to mid-term, demand for my products will slightly increase. Rather than buy a new car, I think that many people will opt to keep and repair their current ones, which means money in my pocket... And despite what the newspapers and magazines say, grassroots-level motorsport is still going strong. In relation to my collection, the current economic situation really hasn't affected me. I have always tended to live within my means, and I do not spend money which I don't have. I reject consumerism for the sake of consumerism. I have zero credit debt. I have slowed down on my purchases a bit, but that is something that has gradually occured over the last couple of years. I still pop for the really cool stuff that I want.

I think that you could probably use the word "entry" or "re-entry" as a synonym for "dive" in that context.

I'm itching for the Beagle too. Nonetheless, Yaco's Gakken still looks mighty fine.

The trick to getting the MPC's arms to fully collapse and close is this: Fold in the hands last. Collapse the forearm completely, so that the locating tabs at the top of the forearm engage into their corresponding slots in the shoulders. The forearms should then fit pretty tightly to the shoulder. Once the forearm is secured then (and only then) should you attempt to flip the hands into their storage bays. You have to get the fingers positioned just so, so that they will permit the arm covers to close fully. If you don't have the hands folded correctly, you won't be able to get the arm covers closed. All discussion of shoddy materials aside, I think that the leading precursor to broken hands on the MPCs is overstressing caused by the internals of the arms basically crunching the folded hands as in a vice when the arms are collapsed with the hands stored. Ray's advice up top on getting the legs and torso to extend and collapse fully is spot on. When compressing the legs for fighter mode, you'll know they are compressed enough when the locating tab on the bottom of the arm matches it's mating notch on the lower leg. It should be able to snap in without pulling the upper and lower arms apart. HTH.
