just finished the first book of the series "A Game of Thrones". not bad, quite interesting - some plot twists... quite an easy read.

yup, that's most possibly the reason. seems like Galia 4 was just recently discovered: Alto also mentioned that the zents did not scout the planet due to the protest from Temjin's troops. but its kinda weird how Grace knew about the Global yet the zents didnt... perhaps they did too, but the mutiny broke out (instigated by Grace) before they sent scouts there. i don't think Grace needs Temjin to do anything other than to hold Ogotai's troops in a stalemate, and she wouldn't be interested if they killed each other, doesn't matter because any survivors will still die by the Dimension Eater. Since the VF-25 is known to be developed from YF-24, Grace's side must've depended alot on YF-24's stats in their simulations, and underestimated LAI and their VF-25. actually i have the same thinking as you regarding how the Grace & co might have overlooked how important Alto is (or how important love is or how it might affect Ranka or Sheryl) - they only see him as a pilot and nothing else, yet Mr Bilrer might have something up his sleeves. I get the feeling of Mr Bilrer playing a chess game with Grace, and his moves seem much more indirect yet effective, and perhaps he will surprise Grace & co. Grace group seems to me to be people who are obsessed in their own quest to enhance themselves: be it cybernetics implants anything they consider to be superior, they will even give up their own humanity and sacrifice the lives of others. Technological advancements vs keeping it natural like in the Frontier. As the saying goes: you win some, you lose some - Grace group might have gained alot from implants and all, but perhaps it is the humanity that they have lost that becomes their undoing. BTW, i see some comments regarding Mr Bilrer being a cyborg or having implants, but other than his right eye which really seems like a common thing among Zentradi Commander types, i'm not really convinced he's a cyborg or has implants like Grace. Perhaps the speculation is due to the two gems on his forehead. anyway just wanted to point out that if he has implants or is similar to Grace, he wouldn't need to look at a monitor like he did in ep 7 when the Vajra ship appeared. Guess its WAFO...

ending credits include names such as: Old man Middle-aged man Young man Young girl add Grace to the above... that's 5 of them. with such generic names, i'm not expecting them to be individually important roles... unless SK finally noticed that the ending credits kinda spoil the plot and try to cover it up this time.

There is also the mention that Exedol, for fear of losing his memories, macronized and altered himself physically to ensure that his body is "optimized" to retain information (something like that ). Maybe the Galia 4 advisor also did the same. In M:Frontier ep 12, we see both the TV and DYRL designs, suggesting that there is variety in year 2059. we don't really know which design/looks was "canon" during SW1. perhaps certain fleets sport certain looks, or there's change in their uniform. as for SDF:M TV or DYRL differences, IMO the easy way is to treat the TV events as canon but update them with the DYRL designs/looks.

ya, i also get the impression that it is the Macross Global that they're referring to as Grace's homeland. i noticed that the sponsors' background image (just after the OP) is usually a screen shot from that particular episode. however, this time they have a really cool animation of some flying VF-25s... was expecting to see this scene in this episode but surprised we didn't get to see it. wonder if its gonna be inserted as part of a future episode... Anyway, the above pic from right to left: Luca's RVF-25, Michel's VF-25G, Ozma's VF-25S, Alto's VF-25F, and.... Sheryl's VF-25 ??!?!? what about the three extra ones in this pic? the conspirers thought that they lost Q1 Ranka to that Vajra attack, they probably tried to make another Q1. ... that means Sheryl is in fact younger than Ranka. which is why i remember reading from some magazine(?) regarding Sheryl's age being a question mark/mystery. At that time, i thought Sheryl was much older than her reported age

nope. when Alto introduced himself to Major Ogotai in ep12, he called himself 准尉 Warrant Officer. And the Galia 4 story arc extends upto ep 14 where Alto gets himself back to Frontier straight into the full blown war. Now in ep 15, Ozma mentioned to Cathy that Alto just got his promotion, and near the end Mr Bilrer called Alto a Lieutenant Jr.

I noticed not only the road near SMS HQ, but nearly all the time - the roads were empty!! i think the only time we get a traffic jam in frontier is in the previous ep where there's a state of emergency. makes me wonder if the frontier is made too big for a small population. yeah, i like the look of the YF-24 alot too! would be great if we can get a toy or model of it. better yet, make a whole sidestory OVA with it!! M:Galaxy - design looks weird, can it transform? will we get a M:Galaxy vs Battle-25 finale?!! would be the first time we have a captial ship-sized enemy mecha!! Ranka's pet being fed by Nanase ... and since Ranka and Alto were in quarantine, Ranka didnt get to see her pet - she went to visit Sheryl first Ya, he's a 少尉 Lieutenant Jr now... Kei's subs made a small mistake near the end - Mr Bilrer already referred to Alto as 少尉 Lieutenant Jr zzz i'm having LOTS of problem posting/surfing this forum >.<

i think its still possible that the vajra could be a later creation of the protoculture (remember the spiral symbols link to birdman link to PC). as for whatever the PC could not accomplish, we still do not know exactly what Grace meant when she said it. i hope its not just the simple goal of eliminating the vajra.
