been thinking about this, and the reason is possibly because Ranka is still not able to generate enough energy(?) to project her emotion/song far enough, so they need her to be in the middle of the battle. They could possibly use relays too, but other concerns such as how to configure the relays to be effective for Ranka's broadcast (bandwidth concerns? maybe relays dont work?) etc. Other Random thoughts: - I dont think it was ever mentioned before that the Battle 7 was not able to fire in Carrier mode? The CMS "normal" release for Yellow includes the helmetless heads for Yellow, Stick and Rey. i would expect the CMS Houquet to come with her own helmetless head.

Actually i suspect he despised whatever the NUNS or 117th were doing so he quit NUNS immediately after the 117th vajra incident. - Grace saying "we" was referring to her accomplices, and nothing she said suggested that LAI has a branch in M-Galaxy. And i don't think there is a LAI in M-Galaxy. - LAI providing Dimension Eater to Grace was probably because she provided technical blueprints and even the vf-27 itself to LAI. VF-27 being similar to VF-25 could be because both were based on YF-24. is a robot with a real human mind an android? actually i'm not sure what name is technically correct...

Ai-kun is probably a Queen-type Vajra. judging from the color, and potential plot for MacrossF. its well-known (hmmm i guess not that well-known ) and its even stated clearly by the producers that Macross is always about fighter planes, music and love triangles. these are the basic elements to the series. who knows, next thing TS may say take the fighter planes out of Macross
