Much like all Gundam series were mostly limited to the Earth Sphere (at most the solar system), the Macross stories had always been limited to within our own galaxy. So far the immigration fleets are only covering a small arc of our galaxy. However, in the final ep of Frontier, the part about Vajra mating opens up this series to other galaxies, so the playground is much much larger now... infinitely larger...

yeah i totally agree with u!! Bilrer is us fanboys, and he owns real VFs!!! isn't that every otakus' dream come true? I suspect he wants to look for Minmay too... by using the fold network. just like many fanboys here wants to find out about Megaroad01 and Minmay.

LOL... i hope its just this message board... lol... the little so-called "hints" are sooooo funny, but then to realize that they were serious about their "findings and conclusions"... can anyone point out (best if they have pictures) the differences in the various Ghost units? since the Judah system was the same as the one back in Sharon Apple incident, aren't they very dangerous? they could very well turn and shoot at Frontier instead. I only noticed one of Luca's Ghosts was hit (probably destroyed) what happened to the others.

the orange one is Dulfim right? with a hollow center, which was the path Brera (and Alto?) went through during the trench run. IIRC, the greenish one is Kaitos class. of coz there was some script mistake back in the early episode (ep 6?) when the orange ship folded in and the 2 recon RVF-171s called it a Kaitos.. EDIT: u're saying theres another Kaitos in the 2nd pic near the claws of Queen's right arm? its quite small to tell, but it looks like one. if that's a kaitos, then there's at least 2 dulfim and 2 kaitos in these 2 pics

Saw at least 2 Dulfim class and 1 Kaitos class when Alto and Brera were doing that low altitude trench run up to the Vajra Queen (approx 19m+). could be more out there. eerrm... where did u get the idea that I blame it (whatever it is) on you guys? It's good that you're grateful for RT, just like I'm grateful for NO RT. I like to enjoy my shows the way it was intended to be seen. Whatever blame or dissatisfaction i have is with the makers of RT. I do not like it that people took others' creative works and claim it as their own. I do not like that they tore up the original stories and messed with it which to me is disrespectful to the original creators. And the reason they butchered the three original works was just because they wanted to conform to a regulation so as to put it on TV 5 days per week???! What's wrong with one episode per week, with the original storyline intact? My contempt for RT is for their lack of originality and efforts - if they did make their own cartoon i'd probably not have such ill-feeling towards them. I could go on forever, but that's my own opinion and i've never forced it down on others. wow. what a sweeping generalizing statement. Anyway, i think this has gone too far off-track. It originally begun as an answer to the oft mistaken idea that people outside Japan would never have known Macross & Mospeada without watching RT first. As if it was impossible... heh... Which is definitely NOT TRUE where i come from. It also highlights the fact that the three shows can be seen in its original content so RT-fans didn't get 3 times more

Totally agree with Duke on both counts "Macross Q4 Global" is a mistranslation. i guess the translator mistaken the japanese "class" as Q. it should be "Macross Class 4th ship Global" literally or "The 4th Macross class ship Global" calling it SDF-4 will definitely complicate things.

hmmm... may i know which part of what i said was wrong? Like i said, not all countries bought RT, and u said yourself, HK and TW aired the original SDFM and Mospeada without RT, which is in line with what i said. [Actually wiki says HK did show RT] i saw some episodes from Msia Channels. And i saw some RT from TV3 too, and was confused by the editing. I didn't pay too much attention and stopped watching because it didn't make sense. Singapore didn't broadcast any RT as far as i know. If you know otherwise, please give me more info? Some interesting stuffs about the TW-dubbed SDFM now that i know a bit about RT: - the show title is the same as the one used by RT in China (i dont know which was the first). in fact this was the reason that used to cause alot of confusion when i spoke with my Chinese friends, because we refer to the same title but they were talking about RT while i was talking about SDFM. - Even the name for Hikaru was same?! The TW dub used a chinese equivalent that sounds like "Rick"! I guess this means that the TW dub came after RT? - However, there was no mention of Protoculture as a source of power. In fact, i remember vividly Exedore reported that they found out the Zents and mankind are products of PC manipulation, and both are just as warlike. - Minmay bathing butt shot (and for Mospeada Aisha full nude before her skinny dip) of course i'd remember these scenes hehehe... and afaik RT didn't have them. - mention of supervision army. no mention of RT masters or invids in SDFM. I do have Love Live Alive... sad to see the last of them, but i'm grateful for a conclusion. It has some very nice songs! Pity we dont get any more Mospeada anime, but I'm very very happy we have so many new mospeada toys recently! I hope there's more to come, don't forget the inbits!!

hmm i think u're abit confused. imagine you r living in the macross universe in 205x, what you know about SW1 is via DYRL the very famous movie that gets lots of remakes... obviously for theatrical purposes many events would've been tweaked and not exactly factual. Even though there might be lots of historical facts that deny certain events, the commoner will only know about the DYRL movie, and not know which parts are factual and which parts are exaggerated for the viewer impact. Many people will not be bothered with facts. A real life example will be the historical Record of Three Kingdoms vs the novelized and very exaggerated Romance of Three Kingdom. Many people "know for a fact" that Guan Yu killed 6 generals to get back to his master, and also the story where Zhuge Liang "borrowed" arrows from enemies by tricking them into shooting at boats full of straw, when these stories are proven to be totally false! So imagine in the Macross universe, the common person will think that DYRL song was really the song sung by Minmay at the end of SW1, that the "new" designs of the Zents were already in use back in SW1 days. Whether it is indeed factual is another thing altogether. Even if the series now confirms that DYRL was really a PC song, it doesn't automatically guarantees that it was sung back in SW1 by Minmay. The DYRL song and any other additional info regarding the PC could be the result of investigations into the PCs and the origin of mankind and Zents after the latters' alliance. A lot has to do with Ranka's emotions and thoughts. Ranka is now convinced by her brother to protect the vajra and destroy the invaders. Previously she was more concerned with the safety of Frontier and her SMS friends, thus the vajra were confused. The unexpected interference also contributes to the confusion. yes those earrings are jinxed. but there's a secret to it. if u wear or hold on to only one, you're jinxed. Alto's VF destroyed in both occasions, Sheryl's popularity down the drain and even her life seems to be at an end. however, if u own both, you will be lucky and everything goes your way. Thats why Sheryl was so popular before she loaned one away.

dubbed in chinese. judging from the accent, i suspect dubbing was done by Taiwanese. it was only a few years(?) ago that i realized that China aired Robocrap too.

Brera did a half-assed job Never send a droid to do a man's job though it turns out good for our protagonists... yeah probably many if not all folks from M:Galaxy were tricked into implants to bind them to G.A. The one last episode seems too rush for everything. We have the Battle Galaxy to appear, SMS Quarter to return to the scene, Leon is to be killed/captured for trial of murder, Grace needs to be killed but she dont die easily, mankind making peace with Vajra and Ranka, Brera to be killed or sacrificed to save Ranka and after making peace with Alto, Bilrer to meetup with this mysterious "person" and the explanation of his real motive behind all of these, conclusion to Luca and Nanase (she needs to wake up, and Luca needs to feel guilt and remorse i hope?), and of course Alto's choice between Ranka and Sheryl... not to mention we need time for the plot explanation, the battles between M:Frontier/SMS/M:Galaxy/Vajra rematch for Alto/Brera(?), and also to wrap up the series... Too much content to stuff in 20+ minutes!! Maybe Grace will not be destroyed at the end to pose as a permanent threat in a future series? She's hard to kill, and i dont think even destroying the whole of Battle Galaxy could kill her if she is well-prepared with several network backups in various places. BOMBA!!!

errm... Alto's in Sagittarius One, judging from the reactions of Sheryl, KK and Luca, it couldn't be just a drone or decoy. Why would Sheryl scream and cry over a drone? Luca would though And if you're gonna say they made a mistake, the battle updates were directly from the Command Centre... i expect the info to be accurate. I'm quite confused about what u said about the nose, could u post some screen shots and show which parts you are talking about?

You just lost your bet. I live outside Japan, in Singapore to be exact. Many many years ago, the local TV broadcaster was showing the uncontaminated Mospeada (ok ok... minus some bathing scenes ). If I'm not wrong, Taiwan and maybe HK was showing the same uncontaminated stuff too. Not all countries outside Japan buy Harmony Crap. In fact, local tv showed the uncontaminated versions of Macross, Southern Cross and Mospeada. I was very very little then, and i taped the episodes. Mospeada made a lasting and deep impression in me, much more than Macross (which i managed to watch the uncontaminated version too, before i know about Robocrap). That's why Mospeada is still one of my fav anime of all time. Southern Cross i didn't like at that time, so i didn't watch all or i don't remember much from it. Yes, I'm very grateful for not being contaminated.

yeah, i did get reminded of Mospeada. the vajra are so similar to the inbit, their hives too. Its hard to tell a story when the "enemies" do not have a face. The EX-Gears reminds me of Ride Armors. And that huge hologram reminds me of EVA. yeah so it wasn't a fighter sized ship, that vajra was really that HUGE!! A queen type looks different though. the red lobster must've ate a lot to get this big, and he gets bigger after this treat. i dont think SK is gonna explain this. It might be just a metaphor, Vajra crushing all of 117th. Isn't that a Robocrap story?
