  1. I don't want the black one - not sure where that idea even comes from. Its not in the OVAs to my knowledge. Interested in the anime colors though . . . need a link!
  2. I like the fingers you made - they seem to be very hidden in the series. There is a large groove down the chest and crotch - but we should be able to put that in ourselves if we want. I plan on getting some scribing tools and start practicing at adding details like that . . .
  3. LOVE the sculpt! In comparing Cap's to the 1/48th Curio-Craft-san Gosu, Cap's is so much more regal and heroic, and well, threatening looking. I like the weird alien fiber fore-arm panels on the CC version, but other than that it kind of looks bloated and on too many steroids, and well ---- slightly confused and awkward . . .
  4. DANG! Get well Mike! You'll beat it . . .
  5. My vote is for Ligaa and Protector next -simultaneously- to cut down on shipping costs, and to include booster so you can make the Ligaa either way. Cap usually goes all out on these and I can't see him not including the booster. He tends to do the ultimate versions. I think most of us who ordered the other Inbits will get several of each of these - not just 1 like the Gosu and Gamo. I might get up to 4 each of the Ligaa and Protector if they are affordable . . .
  6. Pretty cool ---- did not think it would be available for purchase. $400 is a bit much though - maybe at $199 or so I would have been tempted . . . http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-Armored-Trooper-Votoms-Watch-Scopedog-Model-SUNRISE-SEIKO-Movement-RARE-/141371665565?pt=Wristwatches&hash=item20ea686c9d
  7. Does anyone know anything about this pic? WF 2014 SHE Dangaioh? And a BLACK Dangaioh? Thought SHE was no more . . .
  8. Quite a price difference between US and Japan on Yamato Ingrams. New Unit 1 US - $275: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Yamato-Patlabor-AV-98-1st-NRFB-No-Reserve-/281422575071?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2047675.l2557&nma=true&si=belM4w8zoa2YD3oe0oy6fhqdWDc%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc New Unit 1 Japan - $68,500 Yen: https://www.rinkya.com/en/auction-b163331177 So wait to buy them on eBay . . .
  9. Just got a used Proto-Garland - and I can certainly confirm the brittle plastic, everywhere. Probably was not a good idea to get something like this used. • Handle bars loose in box • Hip broke on first touch • Back leg hose snapped off at the ends - then broke in half • Other leg hoses cracked • Orange visor in front of rider will not stay up - keeps sliding down • Right index finger snapped as I tried to put it in the trigger area ( realize now they forgot to make the index / trigger finger have the ability to go into the trigger like the VF-1 ) • Right thumb snapped off • Left thumb snapped off s h e e s h --- Snapped some pics while I was snapping parts off . . . Panel lined and detailed it up. Usually do not do that kind of thing, but I did not feel at all like I was tarnishing a mint toy. Its held together with tape and bubblegum now! The little bolts look much better in metallic - as does the front wheel hubs with the details brought out. Was able to drill out hip and carefully repair with small screw. Scew cap very obvious though. No worries, will match when I have to repair the other side I'm sure. Was also able to use micro screws to fix thumbs. I will not be able to raise the back calf jets ever due to the brittle tubes - bummer. Will have to look at this like owning an old MG, something that needs constant tweaking and repair. Great sculpt and attempt - but poor materials. Needs a V2 . . .
  10. EXO said he'll create one - but needs a cockpit assembly piece to make it the right size. Hey - that is a great ploy to try to get a Gosu !
  11. Not bad - will follow this. Won't get a pre-order, but will watch and if it is high-quality and no breaks etc - might get . . .
  12. They look good. Bandai SPEC will be hard to beat tho. Never heard of Tag HOBBY. Hope they have that panel lined look as shown in the photos . . . ( lit up from inside? )
  13. ZWARTH in hand. Great sculpt, details and gimmicks. Joints too loose, especially hips -- he falls backwards due to the giants back-jets...
  14. Was not going to get any more RS, but my Dunbine and Billbine need a foe - and I'm a sucker for enemy mechs. In this case enemy Battlers. Here is ZWARTH. Great sculpt, nice attention to detail and cool gimmicks -- as usual with this line. And as usual all the joints should be tighter than this. Too fiddly and easily bumped out of place, or parts knocked off. Hip and waist joints too loose. Making him stand upright and not tumble backwards due to his giant-jets is difficult. Really like the use of gloss and matt blacks. The red organic muscle-like substance is a nice touch, but it could have been even better if they had used a translucent material like his wings. Imagine the chest and shield texture in a semi-clear red instead. Gimmick to open chest to see cockpit quite cool and complex - wish there were a pilot fig. Ball cannons are just that -- ball cannons. There appears to be a flaw in the battler design itself too that is not realized until one holds the figure. The large shield spike would extend back into the fragile insect wings and rip them up just with casual movements - but hey - its pretend. One of the best features is the flying mode, viewed from the back. Those very strange feet curled up and all the jets pointing backwards is very cool. The small circle vents on the side should have rotated so they could be aimed in the direction of flight - they do not. His pretty big - nice enemy to face Dunbine and the Fow in a diorama set-up . . .
  15. I might be in for this. From the Collection DX review of the Galvion fig: "If you like Galvion you've probably already bought this toy. If not you should! When are we going to get another Galvion toy? Probably not for a long time. Overall its a good figure with my main complaints being the paint and weak knees. At 14,800 yen it is a bit expensive but I would say worth it for a Galvion fan." Makes the upcoming review for the Megahouse Orguss really easy: "If you like ORGUSS you'll probably get this toy no matter what. If not you should! When are we going to get another ORGUSS toy? Probably not for a long time. Overall its a good figure with my main complaints being the paint and weak knees. At 14,800 yen it is a bit expensive but I would say worth it for an ORGUSS fan."
  16. THIS. Looks extra thick - you can hardly see through it - and its cracking. Its why I kept her canopy open while taking the pics . . .
