  1. I'm down for 1 to replace my Arcadia VF-4G I sold to @apptt4

This is the VF-4 I actually wanted. Maybe they'll do a DX next time, but judging by the HMR price it'll be an expensive DX... hmmm but still cheaper than Arcadia's offering.

That would be fantastic! Having skipped the 1J, I'd definitely PO a 1S. I just hope they'd include both a Roy and Hikaru pilot for a TV version.

They'd also have to include 2 canopies. 1 with Fokker's name and 1 with Hikaru's.

  3. Who thinks that Arcadia have lost the Plus license at 1/60 scale? Their teased premium finish 19 is now no where to be seen. Do they even have the 7 license at 1/60 scale any longer?

I feel like Arcadia only has SDFM/DYRL and Zero license under their belt at this point.

Bandai will compete and license Zero at 1:48 scale, and we'll see a massive DX VF-0 that puts the Arcadia VF-0 to shame. Oh man that would be 1 big plane.

  4. One of the mysteries that the video solved for me was how the head lasers canted outward. Double swivel joints!

I never noticed the fully articulated hands have triple jointed fingers!

Really glad the gun strap is removable too so it doesn't get all squashed in fighter mode.

Backpack didn't look like it needed sliding like the HMR.

Swing bar looks less fiddly than the Yamarcadia.

  5. Wow! Even more hyped now. The transformation is an improvement over the Yamarcadia design in all ways. Let's hope it doesn't suffer from overly tightened joints like the YF-19, where we see a leg snapped right off. :p

Arcadia has three specific Engineering fixes to make their V2 ideal.  Locking wings, corrected ankles and an additional click at the Gerwalk joint.

Add 1 more: Revised Intakes, that aren't blunt... but I guess that's not really engineering. More aesthetics.

From those pics it doesn't seem to have an integrated heat shield. There's a small gap behind the cockpit that is probably used to hook up the heat shield (or removing the cockpit)

Not a problem for me, though. Still love it

That gap you're seeing the clearance required for the canopy to swing open on the hinge. @Ignacio Ocamica already posted evidence of the integrated heat shield. ;)

  8. I think if you bought on release date and held on to it unopened (a tough thing to do) to see the reviews once they are released and in the end were convinced to not keep it, then it would be an easy task selling it to another MWF member for cost price. No loss to you really, and you'd make another MWF member happy too.

That being said I actually had a little bit of trouble passing my HLJ AILE Strike PO to another member here, but I am in Australia. with not that many Aussie members here, and this is also a Macross majority community. I did however easily pass my DX YF-19 PO on to another Aussie forum member. I didn't even get the chance to post the for sale post. I was approached via PM after mentioning my intention to cancel my PO. :p

  9. Judging from the Metal Build AILE Strike, and DX YF-19 Full set, there will definitely be stock during the release week from cancelled preorders and also more stock on release day.

We're still anticipating a release without the special fighter stand too, but there has been no news at all about that.
