Hey, that actually ends up cheaper than FJ once you include their 700 yen fee. Yay.

Being a Bandai customer:
-
Even TWE items are a goddamn PO headache now. Thanks a lot, Bandai! I just asked a friend in Japan to order me a set.
-
WTF From Japan canceled my order. And I ordered as soon as it was available.
-
NY had over a month to ship my VF-4 before Japan Post suspended services to the USA. And they just sat on it. I got my money back through Paypal, bought it off Amazon for slightly less with shipping, and it was at my door within a few days.
-
Delta was so bad it killed the toy line.
-
"NY sucks." There you go.
-
Choices are much more limited when it comes to TWE. I'd go with Big in Japan for this one, if I wasn't using FJ to order for me.
-
Depends on what you're ordering and from who. The 3D printed Minmay figure from Arcadia incurred a domestic shipping fee. The PF VF-0D did not have a domestic shipping fee.
-
Roy died because the UN government was too cheap to install ejection seats in their valkyries.
-
Already placed a request to order the TV super parts for the TV VF-1S I don't have.
-
Agreed, I would much rather see figures of the rest of the Avengers and company instead of a THIRD goddamn Mk 85 or Thanos or any other multi-dips that Bandai loves doing. And they clearly put their D team in charge of some of them, like that awful looking Hulk. It looks terrible and they couldn't bother giving him glasses or a nano gauntlet accessory? Or an interchangeable messed up right arm would have been pretty cool. Maybe they were saving those for the second and third releases of Hulk.

This is the worst kept secret I've ever seen.

@no3Ljm Whoa I thought you entered the witness protection program or something.

I don't need to get an entirely new figure every time Tony scratches his armor. And Bandai charges damn near $100 for each of these extra bites at the apple. So while it is cheaper than a Hot Toys, you're still spending around $250 if you buy all three versions. And since it's Bandai you still have to deal with their PO BS. If I'm dropping hundreds of dollars, might as well get the much higher quality Hot Toys than multiples of the janky-looking and floppy SHF 85. I got the NOTA accessories so that's good enough for me. I just went ahead and bought the battle damaged 85, since you barely see it in its new condition in the movie. https://www.sideshow.com/collectibles/marvel-iron-man-mark-lxxxv-battle-damaged-version-hot-toys-904923

Add up all those Mark 85s and you'll almost have enough to buy the Hot Toys version.

All VF-0s can recess into the fuselage. Just gotta work it a little; specifically the metal bar inside the neck which can collapse down. Just pop the head off if you're not sure; it's just on a simple ball joint. Otherwise the head will get blown off if the the gunpod is fired.
-
I put a layer of nail polish all along the outer diameter of each intake cover which does a great job holding them in place. A layer of brushed on clear acrylic will work just as well, but nail polish cures much faster.

Once Yeti's store is back up, toss that Arcadia adapter and get his. @sqidd The battroid head can recess further than that.
-
DYRL strike parts are from Arcadia but everything else is Yamato (v2). Thanks sir!
-
I'll wait for Bandai to produce a good quality smog monster figure.

Grats dude! They look great! You're really tempting me to order another...

Nice score! Nothing is less subtle than Bandai's tampo efforts. Bandai has no restraint. They're the toy equivalent of Homer being given a ton of money and no restrictions to design a car. (Maybe not that extreme but you get the meaning.)
