  1. Hayate, the worst main character in any Macross series, and Mirage, who I'm pretty sure has a Kakizaki relative somewhere on her dad's side.
  2. Toys and human lives don't last forever. Enjoy them while they last, for one day it all breaks down and ends.
  3. Both the VF-27 and YF-29 going back to their styrofoam and plastic prisons shortly.
  4. I'm glad you had good experiences with them, but that doesn't change the fact that they are failing miserably on this order. This is a Bandai TWE item so they should have gotten it right after release date, same as everyone else who ordered it direct from Bandai, assuming they can be trusted and even ordered it at all. It's been about 3 weeks since release, so I've given them plenty of time to get their sh** together. The only communication I've gotten from them was a non-helpful email that the item should arrive "next week" and that was two weeks ago. I will never use Dejapan again and advise against anyone else using them. Same recommendation I gave about NY years ago.
  5. So, as a trial run for the VF-1D, I decided to place an order through Dejapan proxy service. I'm already getting the 1D from a buddy in Tokyo, so I'll still have a 1D if they failed to deliver. My verdict on Dejapan: FAIL Two weeks ago I contacted them about the status of my 1D order and asked if it's arrived in warehouse. The replied and said it "should have shipped already" and to contact them again if there's no update by next week. I contacted them again a few days ago to ask for a status and have not received a response. That's some NY-level BS going on here. So I contacted them today asking for either a real status update or refund if they cannot fulfill my order. I'll be filing a CC dispute if I don't hear from them in the next 24-48 hours. Anyone looking for a reliable proxy service should avoid Dejapan.
  6. Nope. That section does swivel a bit, so you can turn it outwards somewhat to get at the screws. Removing the legs entirely makes it easier.
  7. Pretty slick! You'd put Phil Tippett out of a job, if Jurassic Park hadn't already done so.
  8. Would Messer have survived if Xaos could actually afford ammunition?
  9. Have to remove these screws to both access that hinge and separate the crotch area from the forward fuselage.
  10. Did you make those?
  11. What kind of freak would disassemble their toys?
  12. Nah, it's a pic from awhile back. Found it in a random shop while browsing in Tokyo. It'd be nice if they reissued it under a different modex number too. I've packed up a number of my valks now and I must say I absolutely hate Bandai's cheap ass styrofoam and plastic wrap packaging. Took them too damn long to adopt plastic trays like Yamato was using since forever.
  13. Hayate's final battle valkyrie that he received for, uh, reasons (aside from the real world reason of wanting to sell another toy). As an aside, how much does a 31C go for these days?
  14. You have to open up the underside of the forward fuselage where there are 4 screws. You have to remove those screws to detach the entire crotch/hip section from the nose area. Once detached, you can just pop the crotch plate off and remove those screws and then you can access that part. I'm writing this from memory so I don't remember if there was a metal pin or anything like that holding it in place on the inside. You're talking about this part, right??
  15. Thank you, sir! Enjoy the new YF-29! It's pretty much the same thing from an engineering standpoint as the old one, but aesthetically it's a nice improvement over the old one, with the nice matte finish.
  16. Kairos going back to her plastic prison. Next time I take her out she'll be joined by her younger, hotter(?) sister.
  17. If lurkers are really that much of a concern, can't this specific topic be set up so only logged in members with at least 5 posts can see it, like the old for sale forums? Honestly, I don't think lurkers are really the problem. It's Bandai's extremely limited production and "professional" scalpers buying up as much stock as they can. They have no need for these boards to do what they do.
  18. Amiami crapped out on the last step but I somehow managed to come back around and get my order through.
  19. Guess Amiami really is gonna wait till 1700 Japan time to open orders.
  20. We who are about to die get cart-jacked salute you!
  21. Ah, Bandai encouraging 14 year olds to get pregnant. Way to set up the next generation of consumers. So is Bandai trying to market this to the mecha fanbase or the idol group fanbase?
  22. Shipping is free if you come and pick it up yourself.
