    Thanks! Some of them are, yeah. I like how thin they are, but some parts are molded too shallow. Ah, thanks! The issue isn't getting into the lines though, it's that some of the lines are so shallow as to be almost non-existent, so getting a wash in there is impossible and even drawing by hand is super hard. Anyway, one more for the road! Roy's rides, or Meet the Fockers.

    Thanks guys! I used Flory's for some of it, but there were a lot of parts where the lines were too shallow for a wash. Even drawing them in by hand using a mechanical pencil was a challenge.

    Reassembled my PF 0S. Wanted to keep the brand new factory fresh look this time around. Still need to work on the leg armors and missiles, but she's basically done now.

    So PF versions are now a somewhat regular thing, I want a PF SV-51 announced alongside the regular release so I can just get that version and skip the standard release. I don't want Arcadia to just release a standard version, then wait a year or two before announcing a PF version. That's just a dick move.

    It's pretty disingenuous to constantly use prices from 2008 when talking about the cost of things today. Make it more like HMR? HMR costs as much as the Yamato VF-1 did in 2008, sometimes more. The HMR VF-1 is an 8 year old mold, so it's not exactly brand new, either. Toys across the board have gone up price. That's just the reality of this hobby. Do I wish things were cheaper? Absolutely. Are the Chinese workers who make these toys going to take a massive pay cut just so you can have some cheaper plastic toys? Probably not. However, if you know of a place that sells new and unopened Yamato VF-1s at 2008 pricing, please share the link with us. I think everyone here will happily clean that store out.

    Looks good to me! Is the decal not laying completely flat on the surface? Some decal softener can easily fix that.

    Off the top of my head, the upper stabilizers should have "ASUKA" on them. There's a bunch of smaller markings here and there, going by the Hasegawa manual.

    LOL yeah it's just to make it easier to decal and panel. Still needs additional markings.

    As long as I can get the stuff I want with minimal hassle, the price differences between individual Japan retailers mostly ends up being a wash anyway. Also, HLJ is the only Japan-based shop I've dealt with whose customer service policy isn't "piss off" when there's a problem.

    New stuff day! Finally got my PF 0S, despite the usual level of incompetence from USPS. I like getting the original brown shipper box with these exclusives. Though this one was placed inside another brown box... which was placed inside yet another brown box before shipping. So I had to free it from three layers of brown boxes before reaching the actual 0S box. Also, I think I might have to slow down my MB purchases...

    Thanks guys. The main 1S was finished years ago but I sat on the strike parts and weapons all these years. It was one of those "I'll do it this afternoooooon!" situations where "afternoon" turned into five years.
