Red pill please!!!I don't do the completest thing except for this. I want to do the crap out of it. I'm currently on the hunt for: -Takatoku VF-1S 1/100 "Mini Chunky". Can't find one anywhere and I have put WTB ads up all over the place. -Takatoku VF-1S Henkei. Same deal, can't find one. -Yamato Variable Fighter Collection #2. Same deal, can't find one. I have the following inbound. Stuck somewhere in the shipping ether: -Bandai Mission Gashapon (Third Mission). I don't know what these are/didn't know about the: -Takatoku Small Vinyl VF-1S, Do you have a suggestion on how to search for these other than Takatoku VF-1S? I don't even know what it looks like. -Takatoku Large Vinyl VF-1S. Do you have a suggestion on how to search for these other than Takatoku VF-1S? I don't even know what it looks like. -Non SD Keshigomu figures. I just found one of these. It's red. And a VF-1J. I'm not into that. The Absolute Chogokin got a pass because it's metal. And who doesn't like metal? -I want these for sure. What set is that? Thank you!!!

The 1/144 Takatoku is on the list. But I can't find one. I can't find the 1/100 Takatoku either. What are the next two? I haven't seen those. I wouldn't know what to search for. The evolution thing fell flat. It didn't display well. What it needs to look right is a wall cab about 14-15" tall and about 8' wide so the evolution is all on one shelf from left to right. If I had the room for it I would have chased it harder, but I don't. I'll have room in my next house for something like that. Then I'll re-visit it. For now the Focker army is pretty fun!

    Only six more to go!!!
  6. I'm also out after TV Roy. .........probably. A TV M&M would be very tempting but I alreday have three of each in Yamato 1/48. I'm not THAT interested in replacing those with DX's.

    Thanks for checking.
  8. Too early to tell. If they come down in price at some point you're correct. If the price stays the same or goes up, you're incorrect. Economics 101.
  9. Yes and yes!!!!!

I've been waiting for the right set to become available. You're correct, they get dumped cheap. I just haven't found the one with the Focker. That 1/100 Mini Chunky is driving me crazy!!!!! Right now I'm obsessed with finding one! By any chance have an extra? Or if you run across one can you ping me? Thanks!!!
  11. That place was high stress and big money. It was fun in it's own way and I was the right age for it. At 30ish yrs old you will tolerate a lot. Everyone that worked there was wearing $20K watches and had a Corvette and a Hummer. If we had a good week the owner would take me and the other two managers out to the "ballet club" and drop $10-20K on a Friday night. I've sat around underground Poker games where there were hundreds of thousands in play. Everyone had a big house on a lake with at least one boat. It was bonkers. I kinda played the game (I'm not going to skip a $20K night out at the ballet club on someone else's money!) so it looked like I was into it. But I bought my first house, financed one heck of a Superbike racing program and socked enough money away to open a motorcycle dealership. After four years I couldn't take that place anymore. It was rotting my soul.

The 1/60? Oooooo, that one is sexy! I'm working on getting a DX done in those colors. Gotta get the blue/gray just right though.

It's about having one example of every Focker "model" released. 1/48 Yammie, 1/48 DX, 1/55 Chunky, 1/60 Yammie V1, 1/60 Yammie V2. etc, etc, etc. I don't need the high dollar versions of the "Models".
  16. Tons of disposable cash.
  17. I thought that was, but the lips were not matching up for me. Back in the I worked a place with a Donnie that was constantly getting messed with. Picture a Boiler Room vibe there. Every once in a while over the PA and all of the speakers on the phone a "STFU Donnie!!!!!" would come out of nowhere.

    That's doable.

Negative. IMO the KO knock off has better aesthetics though. Even if I had a KC Gen2 I would still like the KO better I think.

Being pre painted this could be an option. Does it snap together or is glue in play?

I have two criteria for that shelf: - No SD's. They don't do a thing for me. - No models that need assembly/painting. I don't have the time/skill/desire. If you have time I would appreciate a "gotta have list". I'm going completest with these. Thanks!

The KC is not bad. But I did unbox a Focker KO from Valkyrie Factory yesterday. First thing I thought was that I would much rather have the KO than the Kitz Concepts.

I'm not a JM kinda guy. They do nothing for me I realized after I posted that I had forgotten about it. I had to do a repair on it right out of the box. It will go in to the cab in the morning. Thanks for the heads up though. I don't want to miss anything. This shelf is nice because it gets the little bit of completest I have in me satisfied.
