    You're welcome!
  3. You did a fantastic job of getting that pose down though. Even "not hunched enough" it's fantastic. Maaannnnnn, I was all set to finally get a 50BMG this year. Then I found out I have nowhere to shoot it in Michigan that is within 3hrs. And a .338 just isn't as sexy as a 50BMG . If you're getting a big gun, get a BIG gun!!! BTW, nice rig! So jealous!
  4. Actually that's not great. Especially considering that there is no atmosphere to shoot though. And not much gravity to contend with. And also, a "robot" stabilized shooting platform. But it is a "carbine"/ grunt gun and not a precision rifle. I would like to think that at that level of technology it would be better though. It's a 1MOA gun. About the same you get out of a decent AR-15/M4 which is probably a pretty good gauge of a "grunt gun". They could have given it an accuracy much better. It is made up after all. If it was a .25MOA gun I wouldn't bat an eye or question it in the Macross universe. The range is way off though. Currently the worlds longest sniper shot is 3,450m. I would hope the VF-1 would be much better than that. Especially in space where the range is who knows how far? How long does it take a solar winds to slow a round down? Now that I think about it, there should be two specs. One in space, one on the surface. My .308 has a margin of error of 140mm over 1,100m (.5MOA). Man I hope I calculated that right. I just woke up and haven't had coffee yet. And that is with a person running it. Disclaimer: That number is theory. I've shot .5MOA with it at 600m. It's the longest range I have access to. I shouldn't have technology better than a VF-1. That said, the VF-1 can just rip 20 rounds out in a slight arc and will absolutely hit what it's aimed at. It's not intended as a one shot one kill weapon. Wow, I just went full gun nerd for my first post of the day. My .308. I should have gotten a bolt gun.
  5. I was so effin confused!
  6. Oooooooooohhhhhhhhh, so I'm just stupid then! I had no idea. Thanks!
  7. I used to be a Carnie. I asked the two guys on either side of me and guessed on the women on the other side. I'm actually really good at guessing that stuff. 10yrs in the gym and helping people prep for contests gives you a lot different perspective when you're looking at people. I can guess body fat percentage to within 3-4% until it gets up over 25% too. Hmmmm, maybe I should be a Carnie!
  8. Jackpot! Thanks!!!!
  9. I must have some weird cookie stuff going on. They both take me to the same thing. Can you drop the pic in here?
  10. That cargo looks more comfortable than I am in planes! My row the last time I flew: -6'3" 240lb -6' 200lb (me) -6'5" 280lb The row across from us: -5'4" 100lb -5'5" 110lb -5'7" 120lb Come on people! It's 2020! I think we can figure this out!!!
  11. You linked the same one twice. Those aren't it. I may have a Mandela Effect thing going on there but I swear it was Max, the gun pod was collapsed and it was outside???? Thanks for the help!

I have the racers brain. Now, now,, now, now, now, now!
  14. About a million years ago someone posted a pic of a DX Max (I think it was a Max) posed like the SOCOM guys shoot. They had the gun pod collapsed so it could be pulled in tighter and I think the pic was taken outside. I just went through an eye bleeding number of pages here and in the Bandai DX Chogokin 1/48 VF-1 thread looking for it. I can't find it. I'm hoping someone knows where it is (maybe a different thread) or the person who posted it up can post it again. It looked really great and i'm trying to replicate it....with little luck. Thanks! This is the shooting stance but the pic was from a different angle.

That's an easy gig to get. Wife makes comfortable money, we live in a modest house (that is almost paid for) and...................................................no kids! All of that sweet, sweet toy money is mine! I will concede that there is a non monetary cost to not having kids though.
  17. From the little I have read about HG they sure are a cluster. It's a shame. I've had a few patent trolls come after me. I held my nose as I made a deal. But at the end of the day I got to sell what I wanted to sell and they really didn't ask that much. They're working off of the volume approach. A little of a whole bunch of stuff is a lot more than a lot of nothing.
  18. Thanking myself for getting one through BBTS right now......

Do you sit on the NY AND United Conglomeration Of Surface Shipping boards?! I gotta get me one of theses gigs!
  20. I'll be very cautious as I open the box, take it out, and put it on a shelf for display. I'm all about intellectual property. Buuuuuuuuuuuut, when you drop the ball as badly as Big West has and there significant customer base is not getting what they want.......well.......I don't feel THAT bad about it. There s no way that Big West and HG can't figure out a way to make more money by importing Macross stuff to the US. I mean seriously, if they only got $2/ unit it s $2/ unit more than they're getting now.

Well crap, I'd have to find armor for them too then. Thanks!

If you find the time to check to see if you have those I would appreciate it. I'm not going hard core on these. I'l live if I can't find them. I did just put them on my Mandy wish list and checked Yahoo Auctions JP. I'll just keep looking. If I find them, cool. If I don't, still cool. Thanks! EDIT: Which one is this?
  23. That green is FANTASTIC. I have never wanted a Alaska Base variant before.......now.

Yeah, I need to dig another one up. My "real" Focker display has one in it. I got them mixed up though. The re-issue is the grey-er one? If I remember correctly I got the re-issue and the armor separately. Jenius helped me pick the armor off eBay (thanks @jenius). The re-issue didn't come with armor correct??? Or did it come with and without? I'll have to be careful doing that again. Something about the arm armors being different??? I'm going to have to study Anymoon again. I can't remember what comes in what box. EDIT: Is this the darker grey re-issue with the Supers? Or is this it? Thanks!!!
