    Nice Terebikun book, JVM. :good:;)

Here’s the other 3 shows. Clockwise: Uchuu Keiji Sharivan, Pa-Man (Perman), Kagaku Sentai Dynaman.

I’m still debating on this. I’m real picky about owning multiple Valks in the same scale. I planned on only getting Hikaru Valks but these pictures are killing me lol. Someone tell me I don’t need it haha

    We don't need it.

Anyone know if there are any more available and what is the best price?

    Thanks

Mandarake has it from Y26000 to Y28000. Nippon-Yasan has it for Y31500. But those without shipping yet. So more or less you will play safe within the budget from $250 to $300.

Very nice! Did you use a clear coat after you panel lined it?

These were the posts after the one you quoted.

Damn sweet @Lolicon the extra decals really help.  Did you use a matte overcoat or is it satin?

Satin coat. Flat coats look nice but I always end up regretting it because they scuff so much more easily and visibly.

Ugh, may end up skipping seeing this movie in the theater because of it's length. I don't think my bladder would survive :( Seriously, movies over two and a half hours long should have an intermission just like they did in the old days.

I always felt like Kakizaki wasn't so much "fat" as really just "big."  I get he is supposed to be sort of the "big buffoon" type character, but I think that has been exaggerated over time by fan perception and other non-canon stuff.  He is definitely the goofiest of the three, but he really doesn't do anything that ridiculous or stupid.  Of course he does die...

But I agree with the pilot size; Hikaru and Max can get away with being the same mold at these small scales, but Kakizaki definitely needs to look bigger.  Maybe that's part of the reason they make the VF-1 cockpits so big?

    185?cb=20180715065656

We can all argue with that once Chuck's 31E arrives. ;)

@Foblander will need a fifth one for "pose the heck out of it".

I will need one for "weather and custom paint the heck out of it". :)

Actually, the fifth one should be a 'just in case' situation.

Now, the fourth one is the 'pose/transformation the heck out of it.'

So basically, @Foblander needs 6 of it. 3 to have it in 3 modes without worrying about the joints. 1 for transforming and playing. 1 for MISB. And 1 for just in case.

    Case closed. ^_^

Thanks all, didn't realize Amazon would have that info.  Side note: seller on Amazon is "Horse and Rider Tack"?  I guess It's back to ebay.  I only just found out about the existence of this figure and want one badly.  I was going to get the Chogokin version until I saw reviews that it was a pos and really small.

Well, atleast you got it cheaper than what Amazon is offering. ;)

After all the Mandarake love here, I registered and went to buy something for only 6000yen.  It's in about a 19x8x6 box, and the shipping came up at a whopping 7300yen for EMS!!! :shok: Is that normal?

May we ask what did you buy? And what's the weight of it? Y7300 EMS according to JapanPost going to the US is a 6kg (13.22 lbs) package.

Oh man I'm so freaking excited for Max! I don't want to pose my toys too much to keep the joints nice and tight so if I am able to grab two Max DX toys I'll designate one of my Max toys as the "beater" VF-1 DX and pose/transform the heck out of it. Lol

Why not just grab 3 so you don't need to worry too much about the joints. Just leave each one in their 3 modes. And grab a fourth one to keep it MISB. ;)

I might skip the  eventual M&M 1J 's but I sure am getting Max's 1A.  Just waiting for Bandai to release a zentradi uniform to go with it down the line...

TWE release that's for sure. Along with some mini-figs inside the pockets.

I don’t thk bandai would do a HMR M+ yet, or not until the rest of the M+ DX valks comes out first, since the DX 19 has been released.

Nopoint risking the sales of the DX.

I like where is this going, Seti. Would be nice to have a DX YF-21 and VF-11B. ;)

But with that regard, Bandai already made a VF-4 Lightning III in HMR format, I don't mind them making a DX version of that as well. (DX is not an official 1/60 scale, so I hope there will be no problems there.) Also, I don't think they will risk the sales of the HMR VF-4 at this point. ^_^

On a side note, you do not realize how frustrating it is to shop for good Macross cosplay.

I WANT to cosplay as Sheryl, but when you are short and flat-chested and get carded all the time because waiters think you are still in high school... *cry*

Well, there are 2 consolations to my figure:

1.) I can cosplay as micronized Klan Klan

2.) My fiance is turned on by my loliness, and LOVES it whenever I get carded.

First of all... Congratulations, Shizuka-chan! :drinks:

If Sheryl cosplay doesn't work out, you can aim for Ranka. Still MacrossF so that will work.

What'll be interesting to see is if Bandai does make a VF-11B DX would they make it closer to 1/60 scale or do the "robots of similar size". If it's the latter, the 11B should be closer to scale with the new 1/48 VF-1 line

I doubt that a DX VF-11B will be closer to scale with the recent DX VF-1. Because if it is, then a DX VF-11B will be bigger than the DX YF-19. You don't want to have a big VF-11B beside your YF-19.

I finally sat down to watch the Delta movie last night. I wasn't expecting much and in that regard it did not disappoint. :p

Essentially a Cliff's Notes version of the TV series, that made it slightly more enjoyable. Instead of 26 episodes of mostly interminable crap, it was compressed to two hours, so the movie at least moved along at a brisk pace.

Some parts were tweaked, moved around, or dropped altogether, which improved things a bit.

We got lots of valkyrie action, which was good, but a lot of it felt disjointed. It was like watching a series of video game cut scenes but skipping over all the gameplay parts that connected those scenes.

How could Hayate and Mirage fly so terribly in one battle, only to become super ace pilots in the next? With Mirage piloting an enemy craft, no less. I guess the Draken III really is that user-friendly!

I could go on and on about how bad a movie this was and the state of anime in general and all that nonsense, but instead I'll just say: skip the TV series and just watch this. It'll make as much sense, but at least you'll save about 10 hours of your life.

Hmmm. I'll probably still keep away from it. Because as you mentioned, you weren't expecting too much about it and it didn't disappoint. And in that regard still ended up as a bad movie. That's a red flag for me. :p

Hahaha! I'm just messing with you, Lolicon. Happy Friday! :friends:

True. But these boring good guys can command prices and make us collectors weep. :cray:

Edit: But I have to agree it’s all VF-1’s that’s coming out lately including HG releases. C’mon now Bandai and Arcadia. When are you guys going to make Mylene’s gorgeous transforming ride? :unknw:
