No set off, just friendly debate!
I still have few yammie 1/48 left.

    even the super parts discolor.

they have more detail etc yes but definitely poor quality in comparison to Bandai.

ill trade my yammie to anyone who wants for their bandai s lol

Since it's just a friendly debate. I want to ask since I didn't have any Yamato 1/48 VF-1's. When Yamato released their 1/48 VF-1's almost 20 years ago, did people already mentioned that it has overall poor quality? And did the discoloration happened immediately like Bandai's DX VF-25 v1? Bandai got released their DX VF-1 recently so comparing both companies regarding quality now wouldn't matter anymore, right?

not the 1/60's which was being  compared to the entire time. given that the photos he provided were of the 1/60 yamato and the dx.

I have to agree that's why when I read a few comparing posts I got confused a little bit since the photos posted from what I remember from the previous page is Yamato's 1/60v2.

MB GP01 and GP02 please. Hell, since $1000 Gundams are a thing now, might as well do a GP03 as well. :o

(Although Bandai will probably make the weapon containers a separate p-Bandai release for 30k yen.)

But before that, they should release GN Arms Type E first.

Sorry Lolicon. I just can’t get enough of their ‘Exias’. ^_^

I’ll worry later where to get the money and where to stock it. But they really need to do it. Right now, Bandai! :aggressive:

Huh, I didn't recognize it since that build looked so much more awesome than what appears in the cartoon.  Thought it might have been from some Mars war anime I still haven't seen.

Ahh, Spiral Zone, the wholesome, low-key Walking Dead of my youth.

I didn't know that Bandai made some toys of it too. ^_^

CollectionDX has some cool photos and a review. This is the first time I've seen it. It looks cool. But I like the leader's ride more. I don't think Bandai made one since the one below is from Tonka which is more cartoon toy looking. ;)

Nu Gundam should always have assymetric Fin funnels. The double set should always be something optional. Anyway, I'm not the target market so I should stop.

I didn't order the Metal Structure Nu. I just want to share my thoughts on the Double Fin Funnels. ^_^

For me the Double Fin Funnels is just an option for completing the Nu set. But I really don't like it on the Nu. But I didn't have problems having all the funnels with the Hi-Nu. I guess, it has something to do on how it was mounted on Nu for me not to like both sides have big panel looking thing on the back. :)

Just want to ask what type of plastic do you guys think they used for this part? ABS, PS, PE or PVC?

Awesome guys!  Thank you.  Those look like some cool fan art at that link.  I love this one by a certain "Ruak", gonna have to do it next.  I gotta get some lighting behind that face tho.

    *snip*

They actually used that pose promoting the Revoltech YF-21. It was featured at the back of the box.

I couldn't find the scene from @Sanity is Optional 's avatar, but I've always wanted to recreate it.  Now that I inspected it closer, it looks like an illustration.  Could we get the full pic plz?:hail: Was it from a particular scene in the full miniseries?  (I was just searching youtube)

Anyway, here's my first attempt, but it wasn't quite right...

...So, I gave Guld some lift.  Now I just need some jet exhaust effects, but I haven't found much online.  Anyone know of a source for that?

    Here's what I've stumbled from Google: https://danbooru.donmai.us/posts/778078

    March 2020 Release.
    423mm Height.

    Quote

Mazinger Z reaches the extreme of detail reproduction unique to 1/60!
    ■ We pursue detail and parts division based on the concept design drawn for the movie version by mechanical designer Takayuki Yanase. The total height is about 423mm.
    ■ In addition to the vertical movement, the jet scrender reproduces the vertical movement that is the setting. In addition, the wings can be stored by having a movable range more than the vertical direction as a plastic model original.
    ■ The hover veilder can be reproduced when flying and when the veiler is on.
    ■ Iron cutter, drill missile, rocket punch can be replaced parts of each part.
    ■ We reproduce detail of Cameras eye in detail. By incorporating the included LED unit, Mazinger-Z can be activated.

I wonder how much of Bandai's price is the Gundam licence.

Am I correct that Bandai hires manufacturing firms in China to do production for them? If so, it makes a lot of sense that if these firms skip Bandai and the licencing they can put a product out at a much lower cost.

I'd be very down for some 3P MS scale units.

The only thing that Bandai manufactures in Japan is their GunPla. The rest are in China.
