Noel's back! Welcome back from the trip:good:

    Thank you sir! :good:

I wasn't able to catch a second DX VF-1S over there. It was sold out from every store I went.

Lolicon was lucky to get one. ^_^

IF they do announce a VT-1, guaranteed there will be no shoulder issues. And hopefully they wont come with the left foot on both sides. Or the right hand on both sides..

And guaranteed that it's still not going to have a rainbow canopy, a tent, portable stove, and a mutated fish.

Where are you seeing prices close to $130? I haven't seen anything except a listing on amazon.co.jp under $250 that's actually in stock.

Mandarake has those exclusive Metal Build Strike (sans Aile Pack) for Y18000.

If I understand correctly, I think what's chyll2 referring is that you can get the original MB Strike as close to the KO price if you're just going to use it for the upcoming packs since he's seeing imperfection which he posted on his reply on the photos that they posted. Correct me if I'm wrong though, chyll2.

Yes, and it's better this way because of numerous moving parts that rub each other ;)

Yeah, I'm glad that they're mostly non-painted, given how much paint chips during transformation.

Sure, paint looks amazing (like the upcoming VF-0D), but I like being able to transform them back and forth without worrying too much.

    I concur. ^_^

Agreed, it's a really impressive looking figure, and the package overall, with all the extra accessories, is pretty awesome.

I have no attachment to Vehicle Voltron, I only ever had Lion Voltron, so in all honesty, I could go without the Chogokin Vehicle Voltron in my collection, despite how impressive it looks, and be perfectly fine. God Mars I watched, and had, the only real drawback was the color, not entirely my cup of tea, but yeah, close enough to deal.

So that's it, GX-40R God Mars it is! Kuma posted a few pics a while back and got me hooked on wanting one again, but his photos tend to do that with everything he photographs.

    Great choice sir! :good:

    Besides...

So I have some extra Christmas cash, Vehicle Voltron is all the rage, but I've also ALWAYS wanted the Chogokin God Mars. I wasn't as financially stable when the original released, but now there's a fancy new repaint version out. Any recommends? God Mars GX-40R isn't exactly the colors I wanted, but it's the figure, and it comes with more then the original release, also, it's far cheaper then Vehicle Voltron at this point. Both look like excellent, well made modern combiner toys, so it's a tough call.

I think there's the answer right there, Tking. ;)

How much you like the God Mars than Vehicle Voltron? Which one has more attachment? Are you choosing between which one is made best as a combiner toy? Yes, the recent God Mars is not the color that you wanted, but does it really matter even if you buy it as long that you're going to 'have' a God Mars combiner?

How much would you save if you buy the God Mars now and save later for Vehicle Voltron? Or if you really wanted both, why not get the Vehicle Voltron now while the price is still affordable before it really goes beyond $400, and just get the God Mars later since that one is still cheaper?

I could make a fully operational motorcycle that 95% perfect without straining too much brain power or creativity. I've done more than a few custom motorcycles. I've done all my screwing up/learning already. I'd even do the bodywork out of carbon fiber. Yes, I have put some thought into this before now:D. I'm thinking 400-425lb sans fuel and about 150-160hp. It could stop and turn at the same level as a mid 2000's Superbike.  It will not transform into armor though.;)

All it takes is time and money. Unfortunately I won't have the time for 8-10yrs (when I'm hopefully retiring). It's one of the projects percolating in the brain pan. I also want to do a 60's Ford F-100 "Steam Punk" build too. Modern drivetrain, modern chassis, A/C, cruise control, well sorted comfy suspension and 800 or so rear wheel horsepower. With the reliability to drive across the country if I wanted to.

Cool. Before your retirement, perhaps -- Kaneda's bike? ;)
