$200 for armor, jeez wasn't the armor parts for the VF-25 only ~$100ish?  

Back in 2011, the DX VF-25 Renewal just costs Y15120. But it's already 2019. DX VF-31 is already at Y23760. Almost double the price.

Mr.K mentioned some time ago he'd like to revisit their YF-21 toy design. I couldn't be happier about those intentions at the time but I wonder now if I wouldn't prefer a DX Chogokin version of it, all improvements on the line considered. Do we know if after M Delta Bandai can get the license to follow that path?

Your guess is as good as anyone. At this point, we can say that Bandai probably has the right to make Macross Plus after they released the DX YF-19. But it's still too early to make a guess if Bandai will do YF-21 after Macross Delta. After all, they've showcased some VF-1 add-on parts. Also, not to mention the rumored Macross Delta movie. For sure, they will prioritize that one first because it caters to new and old fans. Whereas, old series, tend to focus on older audience in which by number is lesser compared to current viewers.

As for Arcadia side, they're also unpredictable. But so far, they're just into reissues. The only new ones are the SV-51 plus some Garland figures. Hence, it's why I joked earlier 10 reissues first before they're going to make a brand new one whether it's re-engineered or unreleased model. And repeat.

 

I woke up at 2:05am without any alarm, headed to amiami and both the Zaku and RX-78 were sold out. Then I checked AE and they had they had them in stock. This had to be the easiest PO night as I needed no alarm and I went back to sleep in 5 mins 

Same here. It was an easy PO night. But it took me atleast 15 minutes to decide whether to get it. Saw it at NY 30mins prior but decided to wait for AmiAmi. When it got sold out during the time I just clicked it to Add to Cart, went back to NY and just order it.

So in short, it was the longest easy PO for me.

I used to copy his hair back then. RIP String.

Well, there's nothing to cancel since I didn't order the Zaku. I just remember that big rifle.  

I just realized that Bandai didn't include the Zaku's ASR-78 Anti Space Ship Rifle on this set. They should've include that.

No. I only ordered the RX. I'll keep that until Bandai makes a Metal Build-esque RX-78-2 that resembles the MG kits ver.OneYearWar or ver.3.0.

Damm i made my mind up abt not getting the armor.....but then i cant help thinking abt separating the gatling guns of the armor and mounting it on other 31 valks...

plus, since the gatlings are mounted to the arms, to what seems to be the same hardpoint as the forearm missiles, could the gatlings be mounted on the wingtips ala lil drakens?!

the final question...would gatlings hanging off the wings look nice or goofy?!

Hey Seti. I went back and re-read your post and re-check the photos regarding the gatling guns. And it looks like from the clear photos shows the gatling gun is somehow attached to some folding armor plates that wraps the arm. So we're not sure yet if the gatling gun itself can be detached from the armor plates. It feels like it was designed like that so that it will help the gatling attached to the arm securely rather than rely only from the arm's hard points.

Hey Mommar. I ended up ordering the GFFMC RX-78-02.

Just to add note that NY is now using that waiting area with number page even though you succesfully placed an order.

I ended up placing an order at NY since I'm also getting another item that will also come out on the same month. And as I checked the shipping calculator on CDJ after F360 posted it, I really expect that the total of the item including shipping will end up somewhere Y21000 +/-. So I think that's fine. We'll see how it goes once I receive it.

Probably in the end AmiAmi's total including shipping will also end up as NY's total to Y21000 something.
